Some cloud to cloud lightning a few minutes ago.
We had thunderstorms roll in about 5pm. Done now, hope it's not too humid tomorrow because of them.

Way cool, Victor! No thundestorms here yesterday, but could hear them in the distance---calling for some later today, but right now it's cool & cloudy. Going grocery shopping---ugh!
80 and sunny. It's less humid than yesterday so far, because of th t-storms late yesterday. Hope it stays that way.
It is very hard to breathe outside today. Way too humid.

The bank uptown said 91 at about 5 pm. ICKKK!!! Tstorms are due in later - hope so and I hope it cools down a bit. I'm sooo thankful for AC.
Thanks Louise. Crazy storms here! We had hail and lots of wind, lightning and rain. We got one inch of rain.
Heavy rains here today too. Hard to know when they are going to hit. The weather reports are all off as to timing.
Parts of CT were badly hit, mostly to the east of us---one major road, Route 4 in Farmington, is expected to be closed for 24 hours because of all the poles down---lots of trees down as well----not bad here---just a few good cracks, a few rotten branches down on our road, & oh, yes----lots more rain.

Partly sunny, but now more clouds. My cousin, who lives 10 min away from us, had quarter-sized hail yest---many holes in the hostas! I went picking cherries today in a town to the west of us, & they had hail as well----cherries had too much rain---not very sweet, & many cracked. The birds liked them though----saw 2 cedar waxwings in a tree, despite the automatic bird alarms they had there.
Some more showers here. We had hail, but not too large and not too long.
At least 4 hours of sun today, seems like the first time in 6 weeks, plants are happy!
