Cleveland is getting 'lake effect' rain instead of 'lake effect' snow. Not good in either case. Calling for 70's and scattered showers all week.

OK, so the weatherman said we had almost 9" and 21 out of 30 days of rain in June and it looks like July isn't starting out much better!!

yeap - smoltz pitched great and then there was an hour rain delay - and after masterson pitched a couple good innings the rest of the bullpen fell apart - kotaras got throw out at the plate on a sure run on a single while he was at second - i think he got surprised by the arm of the replacement center fielder in the top of the eight

Thanks, still hard to believe. Since my husband died, I have not watched one, he was such a fan and just missed knowing about their championship in 2004 after all the years the did not win.
Thunderstorm was not a bad one but still rumbling, perhaps it is coming back, at least my golden finally went out, he hates them so do I.

OMG, the rain and thunder and lightning!!!! We drove back from Conn. last night in a terrible storm with my DS's dog, Donnie, who is terrified of thunder. Poor little guy! We had more this morning here at the farm. Donnie is staying with Grandma for a week....such a sweet little guy. It is clouding over again here.......OMG, I can feel the caladium bulbs turning to mush out there!

Lightening and Thundering does not want to stop since the last time I posted here
We haven't really had the thunder or lightning, just day after day after day of cold drizzle or pouring rain. It's seriously wearing on me, as I know it is everyone else too. Even the weatherman sounded depressed on the news.
I couldn't even believe the Rex Sox lost that game last night.
Okay, I'm convinced. Who's in on building an ark with me? I know I'm a little late but we've got to be close to 40 days (with a day of a break here and there) by now. :p
we 've had thunder in the distance all day and rain off an on - good news is tomorrow is supposed to be worse - crazy - do not remember it like this ever - wouldn't mind so much if it was winter and snow - then at least i could go skiing.

I have lived in this town since 1946, gardening every year since, never had weather like that in June nor July nor August nor any other time. Weather changes here quickly as the saying goes "Just wait a minute..."

Took the kids to see Night at the Museum. Was pretty good for a sequel.

Victor, at least you made me smile, these days there is not much to smile about with that abnormal weather while watching all the earlier garden work is being victimized with it

i just put a plastic bag over my komachi hime jm - rain is starting show some signs of stress on at least two of them.
been raining off and on all day - and the ticks are heavy - found two of the little really bad guys on me after collecting my new rock and just went on a walk about on another trail and found one of thier larger safer cousins who had not settled in yet.
Rain & thunder at the moment. Thunder sounds pretty far away & did'nt see lightening so I thought I could use the computer.
Starting to rain here.

One God-awful shower this afternoon---then just cloudy, damp, cool---Groton-New London area of CT had 6" of rain this morning! We had about 1/2 "---still too much.
