Falmouth, ME(Zone 5b)

ughhh.. bleck!! lol

Thomaston, CT

My, it's cloudy---again---had our rose painting workshop yesterday, but it was indoors---the only rose of mine that looked decent was 'Morden Sunrise', so that's what I painted. Oooh, a lit bit of sun poked into the window---how strange.

Thomaston, CT

Forgot to say Victor that your parents look lovely---what a happy celebration!

Rehoboth, MA(Zone 5a)

No sun here just drizzly and miserable, flowers are just mush

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks, Robin. I see blue skies heading this way!

Chepachet, RI(Zone 5b)

Our last nice day was last Wednesday and it has been rainy/spritzy/cloudy/cool ever since. I can't remember the last time our weather was this dismal. It's absolutely maddening.

I did look through the Farmer's Almanac for the Northeast for this summer (considering they were rather accurate with our winter weather) and the depressing news continues--rain, more rain, unsettled weather and oh yes even more rain for the rest of the summer with relatively few breaks. The word "drought" certainly doesn't make an appearance anywhere.

If this is anything like Seattle they can keep it. :p ;D

South Hamilton, MA

Cloudy & light drizzle. Look ahead-look ahead.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Cloudy and very humid.

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

73 and sunny. I hope it heads east. This is the 3rd day without rain. Hope to get out in the garden to play catch-up with the weeds.

South Hamilton, MA

The drizzle seems to have stopped for the time being. Still damp & cold, especially near the coast.

Rehoboth, MA(Zone 5a)

Poor strawberry and tomato growers, all mush

Still awful here

Rehoboth, MA(Zone 5a)

Meant to add that I have dear friends in the State of Washington, not far from Seattle, they had no rain for 28 days

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Low 80's, breezy, cloudy. No rain, yet, today. I think I heard that we've had 6 " so far in June.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Turned out to be a very nice day - for once! Sunny, breezy and 80.

Falmouth, ME(Zone 5b)

So happy for you... Perhaps.... there IS hope.. lololol!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes - that's how I feel.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

No sun here, but no rain either.

East Bridgewater, MA

Due to endless clouds and rain:

This is the first spring/summer that I've had to use indoor flourescents to boost light for some container plants.

Falmouth, ME(Zone 5b)

Looks like some decent weather this week... Thursday perhaps.. then back to rain and unsettled weather... ughh... Is this due to that volcano that erupted (somewhere)? It seems to me... that after tolerating Winter (I use that term loosely... lol), we deserve a gorgeous Spring and Summer... Keep doing the sundance!

South Hamilton, MA

Low flying jet stream; perhaps trying to get out of the way of the volcano.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Rain yesterday ,rain today and rain tomorrow. So what's new??

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

According to the farmer's almanac...well here read it for yourselves...

Murphy's Law as soon as you pull your car out of the garage it rains. Then 1/4 mile down the road it stops and the sun comes out I actually needed my sunglasses.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

A number of long-range forecasters have predicted a cooler, wetter summer for the NE.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Did I mention that it was still raining... had a couple of hours of mist, then rain again. 57 degrees with wind up to 25mph. We broke 60, barely today. Patti

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

We already have 7" of rain for the month of June!

We must be around that too. Last week my rain gauge overflowed - so that means at least 5 1/2 inches.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

It has let up, but still raining. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. or should I say, quackkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.. Patti

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

My raingauge is broken. Don't know how much we had this month.

Mid-Cape, MA(Zone 7a)

It's funny; I look outside, the rain has let up a bit; I run outside with my trowel and the seedlings I need to plant; the rain and wind start up again. I skulk back inside (coward!!)
This is very frustrating, and it's not going to let up for another day!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Poured tonight.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Nothing here. The Mets were delayed for a while.
