Judy, no complaining about the heat and humidity..after having the winter we just had..rather rain/sweltering heat than that white flaky stuff...you must just be so excited about getting a baby condure..have no idea what they are so will go look it up on internet..think it's best you wait a few more weeks especially as they are getting him/she accustomed to people...did Steve work on the cottage this weekend or get some well deserved rest?

Debbie, the cabinet that I want to do has so many grooves in it..bought it in an antique store ions ago, wouldn't mind refinishing and changing color a bit...don't know about you all but i sure hae a lot of different wood hues in one room...I'm must like your DH, not a lot of patience..lol..or have you guessed that already..

Now Tubby, your not going to believe this, but I went out and I said "Now Mr. Sun....I need some cooperation.....so could you shine thru the window on the plantform and the top three steps.....then move to the window off the porch...and shine on the lower steps for me" Well, He did the best he could....and I cranked up the heat in the house (it was winter time when I did this) and between the two....and my elbow grease....we got the job done! LOL

Now Tubby, you have to know....when we women wants something bad enough....we can charm, even the sun!

And what kind of ice cream do you desire? We have this new carmel cup craze up here....and it sells out soooo fast! Came out last year, and they can't keep it on the shelves.

My issue, I have two brother in laws and a niece that work for our local ice cream company. So, I am supposed to stick to Perry's Ice cream band....but true to myself...I am a Hersheys ice cream girl...although I might be found eating it in the closet!

Debbie, I got that shirt for my dad probably 10 years ago. My boyfriend and I made duck tape wrapped box to put it in, complete with "ribbon" and a bow.

Just to funny, I'm laughing my head off...a guy could get into quite a bit of trouble with you gals...best he mind his p's and q's...

Got home and thought I'd best get all the 'large object' pick up beside the drive...see they haven't reached my street as yet, wouldn't want the garbage behind the shed for one more year...wouldn't you know where the poisin ivy is..yep right where all the garbage was...

Greg and Noah were here to help me and Greg had sandles on, if there is poisin ivy anywhere he gets it and gets it badly...so, I went behind the shed and handed him the articles...Noah helped carry to the road what was lightest...

Just as I arrived home the telephone rang..it was Kyle reminding me that supper is at 4:30 tomorrow afternoon and can I made it on time, then they've tickets for graduation...lovely, he thought he had asked me, meanwhile I didn't make arrangements to get off early, now I'll have to and I had appt. at the hairdressers for 6pm which I so badly needed, have waited about 3 weeks to get a night time appt. so now I have to cancel..drats/drats and more drats...shaking my head..

Forgot to say, I noticed quite a few plants and hosta's having been eaten..not sure what it was until I was watering the hangers tonight and see some little round poop..guess I've got me a hungry bunny..

My best of the day...saw that someone had put a parcel on my kitchen counter....it came to me as soon as I saw the box....Judy had my name for the red/white and blue patriotic swap...omg I got some lovelies..will post photo..

Worse of the day...not major but having now to cancel my hair appt. - I'm starting to look like the flying nun, if you are my age you'll know what kind of do I have...lol

What did I learn...when you teach an on-line workshop, do it well because you just might get some of the treasure sent to you...

In my box of goodies from Judy is a pretty patriotic birdhouse...

A hand stitched Christmas sock and red/white/blue material..now some of you did the 1st workshop and we did large Victorian Christmas sleighs...Judy perfected it and made me a miniature ...sooo cute..

As I dug deeper into the box I started to laugh...she sent me a mini Victorian Santa from our 2nd annual on-line Christmas Craft

I is singing, "I just can't wait, I just can't wait" why, because I can't wait to get to bed, won't have bad dreams as Judy created a masterpiece for me with beads..so much went into making this 'dreamcatcher' I surely will cherish it...

But what touched my heart is when I was in Chicago last summer visiting with Judy and Liz, we went on a Garden Tour at a Castle...beautiful grounds..couldn't keep Judy under control, there were geese and duck near the pond and Judy was doing her best to catch one, not sure why as we couldn't have taken it home for supper but she must have had an incling...the features you see on my dreamcatcher are from our garden tour...imagine that...

Guess there is no need to tell you how excited I am..

You are the best Judy...

LOL Large object pick-up?? I don't even have garbage service where I live. We can get it, there are local people who come down the hill and pick it up, they just throw it in the back of their pick-ups, but Dave throws it in the back of his pick-up and puts it in the dumpster at work, free of charge.

LOL Yea, we did bruise him a little, girls.

Betty/Judy those are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo pretty! Mini Santa! Love it!! I like the birdhouse the best, that's my favorite.
