That is such a trip kwanjin! the eyes are in both photos and the close up pic shows the pupils too ~ it appears to be eyes with a cat face!! intriguing!!

Moe, that is some dream on your previous post, I missed it the first time!! And your recent story stirs familiarity of many instances! The heart pounding dreams are bad but being awake and feeling the presence is very eeerie!!! I have a story of a dream that I think I will have to share with you all at another time for sure!!!!

Also Moe, I wonder if you have ever tried taking magnesium for your heart palpitations. I'm just a person interested in natural healing. Magnesium is a mineral that balances calcium and has so many other benefits. It seems that most people are deficient of magnesium and I know first hand that it helped me with my irregular heartbeat and palpitations.

www.mbschachter.com/importance_of_magnesium_to_human.htm
Just a sample website that tells of the importance of magnesium if you care to look into it.

(Zone 7a)

It is weird. Another unexplained item to ponder late at night. LOL

That's interesting about the magnesium. I'll check that out, too.

Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

Call me a party pooper, but all I see is blobs of leaves and patches of light. I've been fooled by so many dried- leaf 'birds' that I know very well how I can swear I see one thing, but it is another. Oh, maybe that means it really IS a creature, cuz I swear it isn't...

Magnesium resolved my restless legs syndrome almost instantly--a point which I told the TV everytime I saw that commercial for a prescription item, but the TV didn't care. My mom was given a big dose of Mag in the hospital once, for heart rhythm problem but was told many older people are deficient and that can cause sleep problems. The Mag I got came as a 200 mg tab, I have taken just half on an irregular schedule and no problems.

(Zone 7a)

Don't worry about being a pah-ty poo-pah. All suggestions are welcome. It was just freaky to see.

I have RLS. I must get some magn. today!

Oh, and...stupid TV. Why doesn't it listen to us? I'm continually telling the TV that that person should NOT go outside to investigate the scary noise. Do they listen? No!

Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

crack me up. !

(Zone 7a)

I was reading the article on magnesium. Very interesting. I will be getting some.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

I was reading that too, I'll be picking me up some today as well :)

Washington, IN(Zone 6a)

hey I have RLS too and bad I was on a medication that helped but am now off of it so I think I will go get some too and give it try.

(Zone 7a)

"Police fear riots as pharmacies were overrun today by people purchasing, of all things, magnesium. Authorities say magnesium is good for a variety of things, including RLS, heart palpitations and a shiny coat.

At one pharmacy, a fight broke out over the last bottle. Two women both laid hands on it at the same time and blows were thrown. Reports at the scene had one of the women carrying a handgun. This is not the first such case.

Be careful out there, folks. Police personnel suggest if you have magnesium in your home, lock it up. If you carry it on your person, arm yourself. If you plan on getting any in the near future, you'll have better luck outside the country where the chemical is still available.

I'm Kaye McKell, KXXX News."

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Wow! That's insane.

(Zone 7a)

That was me.

North, TX

who would have thought!! I had no idea there were issues like this going on with magnesium?? Well....don't forget there are still foods that are rich in this mineral, like leafy greens, especially the ones we grow in our own gardens!!

I agree too ~ that's just crazy!

(Zone 7a)

I wrote that! That was me!!! No magnesium shortages!

In our local Newspaper, there is a column on Wednesdays called "People's Pharmacy".
In this column--many not-so-familiar remedies are often discussed. In a Q &A format.

As for RLS---there have been several testimonials in this column that if you put a bar of soap under the bottom sheet--this problem will go away. Is there Magnesium in soap? Beats me!

I just have a restless mind! As soon as I lay down--it "plugs" into all kinds of communications, dialogues, and any old songs I have thought of in the last week---and I cannot shut any of it up.
Going to sleep is hard for me---especially if I know I have to get up the next morning at 5AM!
When I talk about this at work--seems there are many other people with this same problem.

Gita

Washington, IN(Zone 6a)

I think that is a problem for alot of people. I take a tylenol pm about 2 hrs. b4 I go to bed in order for me to go to sleep. There is just so much in the head that I don't think about during the day and when I lay down there it all is.

(Zone 7a)

Oh boy, don't even talk about sleep. I sleep when I can for however long I can. I'll catch up when I'm dead.

Hey, Gita! Good to hear from you again!

Highland Heights, KY(Zone 6a)

No worries, Gita. Post when you can. It's just nice to know you're there.

Highland Heights, KY(Zone 6a)

Beautiful blooms, Gita, what are they?

Baltimore, MD(Zone 7a)

KY--
This is a close-up of my tall, perennial Hibiscus.
From seed--it will grow and grow but bloom only the 4th Spring. Mine is about 5'-6' tall and makes gazillion seeds. Each bloom makes a seed pod which must contain about 100 seeds.

I guess one could say--patience is a virtue with this flowering plant. As with all perennial Hibiscus--it dies back to the ground each winter and is late in emerging in the Spring--like end of May....

Here is a more distant photo of the whole plant....
Nothing "Ghostly" to write about re this one.....

Fabulous! Unfortunately, the deer would make those turn into ghosts in no time here...

Hi...

I know it has been forever...uhm, I have been a real Fraidy Cat.
...Since the start of this thread, not working and being alone in the house hours on end,
I was watching this show called The Haunting. LOL, literally it and the thread sort of ran me off.
I started hearing things and seeing things. Shook me up so that I was afraid to go in the basement to do the laundry!! LOL.
For me I am sure it was really just my imagination, so had to stop reading, watching hauntings and such.
Well, I have been looking in periodically and always try mark the new thread watch.

What caught my eye was your tree Celia! Yow...I see two face figures (glowing eyes & face!!) in that first small photo.
The big one seem to see one, but in a slightly different area!

HI, Crissy...Sally, Hope you are well.
And Gita! So nice to see that you are still reading over here, Always loved seeing your Garden shots too!, waiving hi to you.

...So your tree prompted me to come say Hello All!

Washington, IN(Zone 6a)

That is so pretty Gita, I have one too and it put out it's first blooms for me this year and is absolutely beautiful. Made me fall in love and I have ended up buying 2 more. LOL

Highland Heights, KY(Zone 6a)

Seedtosser, glad you stopped in. I know that feeling. When I lived alone in a big 100-yr. old house, I had to stop watching scary movies, reading scary books, etc.

(Zone 7a)

Hey, Judy!!! Glad you stopped to say "hi". ^_^

Speaking of 100 yo houses...I used to babysit in a house that was quite old. Not 100 but maybe 6-70. I hated being in that house. After the sun went down, it got eerie. Old houses make noises thumping and settling and even noises that sound like voices. But this house? I don't know what it was, just imagination or something else. I stopped sitting for them after about 3 months. I couldn't stand being scared all the time in there.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Kawonkamish,

Celia, ROFL..!

allwild818, I take a Multi-vitamin(almost every ingredient it is 100-300% RDA), Calcium and Vitamin D. So no vitamin deficiency here.

Gita, I love the Hibiscus; it's beautiful.

Seedtosser1, It's nice to hear from you again.

Hi, Thank you for understanding.

LOL, I am such a chicken, Scared my self silly more than once.
ROFLOL, even called the police to tell them someone was breaking into my house...
How utterly embarrasing to discover it was a shade knocking back and forth on the window during an every now and again breeze.

Yep, my face went Crimson!!

LOL, Celia, did I ever tell you about the dead body at the end of the hall story?

Washington, IN(Zone 6a)

Well I'm not Celia but I would like to hear it. LOL

(Zone 7a)

I've heard A "body at the end of the hall" story but I don't remember it. Do tell...

WAIT!!! LOL I remember now. Tell again anyway.

North, TX

Beautiful hibiscus ~ patience does bring about wonderful things!

Okay, ready for the story about the dead body at the end of the hall.

Although I understand the feelings about not wanting to read or hear about scary stuff!!! I live in the woods with no window coverings!! Now that took awhile to get used to! LOL

While house hunting, I walked into houses that just felt bad!! Can't always explain it but I am ready to leave when I feel that way!!

I've never seen the movie "Poltergeist" and don't plan to ever watch it.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Kawonkamish Seedtosser1,

Please do tell us the story.
