Thanks Bill. I'll try to get an ID on the Bug forum.

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

I love Tokajer! (First pic in the thread.) I keep trying to acquire one but I'm too cheap to pay full price and the places I get my deals always just ran out or the seeds don't sprout or something. I have to renew my efforts.

Thomaston, CT

Some very artistic work! Jo Ann, I'm definitely getting that veronica---Thom, wonderful idea with the dwarves in pots! Dahlia, what a wonderful shade of blue in that iris---and Victor---I'm very jealous of that mophead and rose! Jen, I just had an Asiatic open today...

Great roses, Robin. Love the climber. How big does it get??

Found these on one of my hardy hibiscus. Shot them with BT.

Geranium Rozanne. I like how the central part is the same color as the veins.

Isn't it amazing how destructive caterpillars can be?

My favorite Heuchera, Gypsy Dancer blooming in too much shade

Victor, that caterpillar looks like a cabbage looper, good thing you shot it.
Thom, love the containers.
Victor I know I asked you before but my kids have sucked all my brains out, what does OSO stand for?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Oso Easy Rose series.

Thanks. This time I'll write it down.

No problem. I have three different ones and they're all doing great. No disease problems whatsoever, and lots of blooms.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Redchic Sunshine is a border dahlia (about 22") so luvly in containers and borders. I have Moo (my mom) burying her standard height dahlias in White Rock BC now (zone 7b) at 6 inches as she is elderly and doesn't want to dig them up anymore and some of them are not rotting. She did have her property landscaped with alot of sand though to deal with the PNW rains though. Normally the WA and OR Dahliaholics can't winter them over in the ground due to the wet. Native to Zone 8-10 in mountains of Mexico and Guantamala so good drainage and not so much wet (but you probably new that already, didn't ya ^_^)

Luvlly pics all. Victor droooool over the Roxanne. My friend Chef Pam keeps trying it every year with no luck sigh. Robin my John Davis is an imposter and is not a John Davis :( JD is back on my list for sure.

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

Thanks for the info Dahlia! I love your nickname for your mom, that cute. I agree completely about adding sand around bulbs or tubers in this climate! I didn't do that with the first dahlias that I planted and they died within a few years. But, the ones that I planted later, I put either sand or gravel (whatever I would have when I wanted to plant) and they've done much better. So given that, and with your advice... I'll feel free to plant more dahlias!! Although, occassionally the gophers try them. Grrrrrr........

Robin... Lovely roses!

Victor.... great catepillar pic.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Love those Hydrangea blooms, so unexpected to see three petals

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Once again, left in the dust.

Victor, baby mantis is beyond cool, go get and nice shots

Redchic01, I killed a Limerock too and what ever that white is, is a winner.

ge1836, Glory is in a glorious container. One of your ceramic pieces?

Robindog, great roses!

noreaster, too many Heuchera out these days to keep up with, but your Gypsy Dancer in that combo is lovely.

Hemhostaholic, I really like your big planters and your choices planted in them. I have resurrected and old soapstone sink that is a perfect vessel for something similar, except what goes in it will have to winter over and be totally deer proof. I am thinking Sedums, but open to ideas. I haven't thought this out yet. Alpines would be devoured. Getting it moved was a chore. I had to do a lot of pointing! Thoughts and help, please. It is on the west side of the house with afternoon sun, but part shade the rest of the day. It is at least 3' wide and has a drain. It is at the entrance going down to the endless stream which is a shady dell. Patti

Some roses. The climbing 'flutterbye' is a favorite and goes and goes until frost.

Victor, I have been mulling over your question about the best Regosa a while back and will get back to you soon. I have many. Patti

I love the rusty and yellow tones. I got the little sib 'Here be dragons' from PollyK's site this spring after seeing it at Boojums over the last view years. It is wonderful in the new Japanese maple garden. Patti

A pale striped Iris which I think is 'Between the lines' but I don't remember or list it as in my garden, but it is a gem. Also pictured is an old standard white Geranium sanguineum along with one a new one for me called Geranium cantabrigiense St Ola.

Just beautiful Patti!!

It's been to wet here to really go out and take pictures. Poured all day yesterday, not one break!
So i'll just have to show you what makes me happy on those awful rainy days. Here are my inside flowers....they are always in bloom.

This is DGD Miss Hayden, she has her graduation cap on. She just finished pre-school and will be starting kindergarten in the fall.

DGD Miss Hunter is now 10 and a very proud big sister, she's worried about Hayden's transition in the fall. She's such a good big sister!!!

Pixie, those faces will put some sunshine in your heart.

Some more, including a couple of new peonies for me, Sandra Marie and Honey Gold along with Allium christophii and a tbi called 'Dream Cake' and a digitalis seedling. Out to dig. Patti

My double MO is struggling this year. So is the old fashioned one but that one needs to be pruned and the lilacs riped out of it. I don't know whats wrong with the dwarf double.
