Your Streps. are gorgeous Gail !! ^_^
June Flowers II
I envy you all in cool weather zones. I just got a box in trade from someone in zone 4 and you ought to see the size and health of her leaves............never seen anything like it except to say that streps really love to be in the 60's which won't happen at this house.
Good for you Gail !.
Does anyone have a list of MAAVS violets? Yan Minuet was one of the category winners in 2008,but I still can't find any other info.
Lynn
Lynn I will look later but I think I erased all pictures.............I can ask my friend Marjorie who takes the pics if she will send them to me again..............
Gail,
Thank you,but don't go to all that trouble.I will find it sooner or later.^_^.
Lynn
thanks gail, you do grow some pretty plants,
I try but I wish I had your cool weather for my streps..............I am keeping the house at 70 degrees.........when there is a heat index outside of 105+ so you know how much I love them.........no new clothes, no new car, no new anything, but I have plants!!! (LOL)
Hi,
Well you all know me and that there is never a dull moment in our house...LOL Well hubby was coming down our road and look what fell off the pole... I believe she got zapped and is in shock... She is looking better all ready... I am hoping she is going to make it .... Time will tell...
Hugs,
Susan

How beautiful! I hope she recovers! Do you have a bird rescue to take her to?
Just got out of bed to check on her... Nope no rescue here that I know of but it was late when she fell so will look harder tomorrow... She is more perky... She just stabed me with her talons...only one....LOL
See you all after work...
Hugs,
Susan
Oh, be careful of the talons and beak for sure! Is she eating?

Turtlechi, you are just like me, can never turn away from animals in need. What a beautiful bird! Wonder what type it is?
Above is a link for the Wildlife Center of Virginia. It came up on a search for rehabilitation in your general area. Please call them, she may have an injury that isn't obviously seen. If they can't help or aren't close to you, they may know someone who is, often wildlife rehabbers work from their homes and don't operate in an official capacity, they are just someone who you find out about thru word of mouth. If they are too far from you, they would at least be able to advise you on how to best care for her.
Sending you and her lots of good healing energy!
very pretty, and good photograph too!
I love it!
Susan: That looks like a young hawk your hubby rescued! Do you still have any live mice that could be sacrificed to feed it? Or, maybe it would eat some raw hamburger or some such? Keep us posted on that beautiful bird!
Bonnie: Playful Porpoise is Gorgeous!
Bonnie, the Playful Porpoise is so cute!
Susan,
You are such a nurturer!! Great picture.
Bonnie,Playful Porpoise is a cutie!

Those blooms are gorgeous, Gail!
Hello Sally!!! How did you enjoy today with 105 heat index in CC? (LOL)
Gail,
Your Streps. are gorgeous as always!! That Nancy Block looks like the one I have that I can't find a name for.I need to get my camera out again!!
Gail, I get so VERY ill in the heat. I was out for 10 minutes and I got sick! I can't walk my dog until it cools down. I will have to start doing that in the eve. I would rather do it in the morning though. I like to take my bath EARLY and relax. I have been very dizzy for a few days, better now, but the heat can zap me badly so fast.
thats one i dont have bonnie lol
pretty thing isnt it
JIM

Very unusual Strep. Bonnie. It's a beauty!!
Lovely Bonnie!
(must . . . not . . . visit . . . . Violet Barn . . . or ebay . . . must . . . . resist . . . RUN, DEBIT CARD, RUN!!!)
I just ordered pots, fertilizer, etc from Cape Cod..........now I am saying the same thing about Lyndon Lyons Greenhouses and streps, chiritas, etc.................run run run, Gail.................keep that credit card in your wallet............don't let it out!!!
Well, the deal I made with myself was that I could only use $$ I earned from selling leaves/plants, etc. So, that means I will need to take a look at my baby plants and see what is listable!
Well, my deal was that I would sell hoyas on ebay and couldn't spend more on streps and other gessies than I made on ebay with the hoyas. I have already surpassed that goal in buying more gessies! ^_^
I want the 4 new Rob's mini's for 2009 . . . Rob's Gum Bubble, Rob's Melon Wedges, Rob's Penguin Suit, and Rob's Plaid Skirt. I suppose I could add them to my Want list . . . yeah, I'll do that . . .^_^
Hi ladies, anyone growing Rob's Bed Bug or Rob's Outer Orbit? I'm on the hunt for a a leaf or 2 of each ^_^
