green Beans

Lawndale, NC

My green bean leaves look healthy except they are a light green not dark like they are suppose to be, anyone know what I need to do. They are planted in my corn, they are stripped half runners.
Thanks

Many beans including some half runners have foliage that is a lighter shade of green. Lack of sunlight, shading by the corn, could also be the cause. As long as the plants are heathy and vigorous, I would not lose any sleep over them.

IIs it too late to plant bush beans from seed. I imagine it is. I literally forgot to get these started and came across a large packet of seeds the other day.

Since the growing season here is so long (compared to what I'm used to) I was wondering if I could still get a yield.

Bush snap beans you can plant up until late August.

I agree its not too late to plant at all. Beans don't take very long to produce, I say go for it.

Thanks. I'll get them into the ground tonight. Great.
