can i plant a raspberry bush in a container?
container gardening, help needed
I planted a raspberry bush in a huge container that a tree came in. I gave it to my daughter thinking she would plant it in her yard. Eight years later she still hasn't planted it yet. It does manage to get a couple berries on it, but only enough for a snack. The poor thing has spent 8 winters outside, but still hangs in there. I wouldn't advise it if you want any amount of berries to eat. But you could give it a try. My DD doesn't take care of it or fertilize it either. So maybe if it got some TLC it would produce more berries.
