My three-year-old Confederate Rose took a beating during Hurricane Ike. It looks really bad. It only has a few leaves & it's branches are almost bare.
I have never cut it back before, but I want to do something to save it. It is about 14 ft tall & spectacular when it blooms.
Should I cut it back? If so, is now a good time or should I wait until Autumn.
