A female Osprey coming in for a landing ......
DAILY PICS. VOLUME 220
Great shots guys!!
3gardeners, I've been wishing for a shot like that on one of the great egrets -- those graceful inflight shot of the birds are much wanted. Seemingly, the gull is heading straight at you. lol.
Also, thanks again for helping I.D. the common loon pix.
You were so lucky to get that Loon pic! I would be thrilled as well. I really like the in-flight shots too.
That's a wonderful shot of the Thrasher Lily! It's so nice to find a cooperative subject for a change.
Nice gull catch 3g!
Very nice! Congratulations!!
Thank you!
Like I mentioned over on Bird ID, you all are making me healthier...traipsing after birds I'm finally starting to drop those few pounds that I've been forever trying to lose.
Beautiful shots. I've never seen a Thrasher. Nice!
Loved seeing everyone's photos!
A 'Mute Swan' (photo taken this week) that has thus far escaped the wrath of Maryland's Department of Natural Resources. The local population has dropped from nearly 4,000 a few years ago to a current few hundred. Last month, it was recommended that the invasive species be eliminated to preserve wetlands and endangered native birds.
Beautiful!!
I have a hard time thinking of swans as invasive species!
Nice shots luvs! The Catbird is beautiful!
Thanks Pelle!
