thanks Phoebe, great link. They are such tiny perfect little plants, I hope I can grow them. I think I may invest in some of those omya pots. I'll keep you posted on how they do, would love to trade...

here is a pic of three violets that came from a member here who was nice enough to share some of her plants with me

top left is Opt Rose Quartz, to the right is what I think is a semi mini, Guelphs Christmas, and bottom left is Opt Little Jade

Bonnie, I use a spell check where the word shows up in red if misspelled..........which is often!

Wytheville, VA

Please Gail, where's the spell check on Daves garden?
Bonnie, I got ALL of those plants I took a picture of 2 months ago into the ground, then went out & bought more. Did someone say, " addiction"?

Medford, NJ

Thanks Gail, I am lucky to have gotten them from ppl who grow them so well, hopefully I'll be able to continue in their healthy care..

Kivit, your garden is beautiful...had to write down a few things to look for. I love all the lillies, the duckling clematis, and the giant allium...we have a few of those, seem to be more every year but they are so pretty who cares!

Kivit, than you for sharing all the gorgeous flowers in your garden! All the rain has made them so lush and beautiful. What a joy to see.

(Lynn) Omaha, NE(Zone 5a)

Sorry Bonnie I don't have it.Join the crowd.I can't spell half the time either.

Medford, NJ

bonnie, I know the African Violet "Jennifer Star" is a longifolia. Of course I want it because of the name. I have never seen a longifolia in person. I'll keep a lookout for Ann for you. When the AV club meetings in my area start in September, I am sure I will make lots of "highly important" AV connections.

I forgot to include with my above photos this violet that you sent me...it's Fancy Trail and oh my gosh is it stunning! Love it. It also has a teeny little pink bud that I didn't notice when I unpacked it. It doesn't seem to be rooted yet, but I am hoping that while in the damp mix and in it's little greenhouse, that it will bloom. I looked up pics of mature Fancy Trail and it is absolutely gorgeous!!!

Mrsbonnie, I don't have Ann but I think Bluebirds does. I have to go double check to be sure.

I use Mozilla Firefox as my web browser and like it so much better that Internet Explorer. It spell checks everything you type in anywhere. If it thinks it's an error, there will be a fine red line under the word. (R) click on the word and it gives options. Sometimes the word is spelled correctly but MF doesn't recognize it like the word "episcia" for example. It is underlined in red as I see it now. Just ignore it. A very handy and good web browser.

GL, I have Firefox...........I guess that is where the spell check thing is coming from.......it is on everything from Incredimail to documents, etc......

Frederick, MD(Zone 7a)

mrsbonnie, I tried to get incredimail also but my computer security won't allow it.

Yes, using Firefox as your web browser will spell check everything to type everywhere.

You can also get that from the Google toolbar if you want to download it.
