I have both daphne Carol Mackie and Caryopteris. both started out looking very healthy. Now both are wilting and dying. The leaves kind of shrivel up.
They are planted in two different areas but seem to be having the same problem.
Any ideas?
Wilting and dying daphne and Caryopteris
I find daphne Carol Mackie extremely easy to grow, and once planted doesn't need any water. How long have you had the plants in the ground?
I would almost wonder if voles or moles might be eating the roots?
I wondered about that as well. I planted the Daphne one year ago and the Caryopteris three years ago. 1st year it was great, last year not so good, this year bad.
