Ok, I bought 3 tiny geraniums at the beginning of the year (they were in little pellets ready to plant). Anyway 2 are growing really well but the 3rd one is growing massively, it's huge and it's getting leggy. I was just wondering are you supposed to nip the top off to make it fill out?I don't really mind it being leggy, I'd just like the plant to look a bit more sturdy. How to I prune them?
Geranium
Just pinch out the growing tips...or if it's really leggy, cut back a couple of inches. If you cut off a few inches, you can root the cuttings. Stick them in some soil and keep them coolish.
