Emma!

Yea Arlene, do let me know when you're up this way. Yes she she is growing up, darn. She was here all day, her mama and daddy came over for dinner, it's so hard to let them leave! ( I am absolutely in love!)
Yes, DP, it's a 52 GMC. I know that was a bad picture. Gee, I'm pretty sure the windshield is a 2 piece. Will have to look at it closer in the AM. (or better yet, ask dh!) This is not the working pickup though, it's the Sunday driver.

Fallbrook, CA(Zone 10b)

If it's a '52 it's a two-piece. AND it's a GMC? Wow! I'm in love with a truck.lol Mine was primer red when I bought it. I painted it orange. What can I say? I was 17.

You mean you let them leave??? All you have to do to keep them there is let the air out of their tires. That really works!! You should try it. While they're trying to figure out what to do, you just take her to bed with you. LOL.

I know you're enjoying that baby Louise. I'm so happy for you. My youngest DGD is having a b'day party tomorrow afternoon. She'll be four. I'll post a picture of her from the party tomorrow. (UM today)

Weegy,
I miss you all, and hope the babe and the rest of the family are doing well. Please send more photos of Emma.
DP, recently I went to a car show with DH. He is looking at all the muscle cars, I'm drooling over the Woodies, and the cool Orange Pick-up truck. DH has several work trucks. He also has his 65 1/2 Classic Mustang, with the bench seat, (he tossed the bucket seats), and he has converted it from an auto to a stick shift. It is his baby. He would have taken it to the car show, but the back windshield was out awaiting replacement. It is completely stock. He loves that car.
Personally, I loved my old rugged Datsun. She wasn't pretty but she was a desert rat at heart. Was really bummed when someone mad at my former SIL, sugared my gas tank. I got a piece of classic plastic. An '85 Mustang LX. Which worked out fine til the kids arrived. DH, went and got me a two door (with 2 kids in car seats, what a pain), Grand Prix. It was okay, except we really needed four doors. Finally he almost bought me what was my dream car at the time. A Jeep Wagoneer. Actually, she was the last of the Wagoneers, and what became the Cherokee. He won't let me get an older Wagoneer, because he feels that it would be in the shop too much. I was bummed I never got to even say goodbye to her. DH traded her in for my Red War Pony. War Pony died during car accident, but saved our lives doing so. I still have the license plate and won't let DH pitch it. Now I have a White Jeep Cherokee. Sigh. It ain't a truck, but for what I do on the farm it works well. If I need I truck, I use one of the work trucks.
All of this just to say I saw this cool dragster being towed, not driven to a show. Thought you'd appreciate the truck towing it too. Even though it isn't fully in the frame. Don't know what kind it is. Just know what I like.
Will send a photo, with Weegy's, kind indulgence from the car show I liked too on next post.

This was one of the nicest trucks I saw that day. That's Joe under the white cowboy hat sitting in the shade.

For those of you who don't know what a Woodie is, here is a prime photo. There were two there at the car show, but I liked this one best.
I wanted a Wagoneer, because I couldn't have a Woodie.
I wanted a Woodie, because I couldn't have a tank.
I hate Hummer road vehicles.
Thanks for letting me get that out of my system. I also have some other cool car show photos, but if you want to see them dmail me. We've gone off topic on Weegy's thread, and she is so tolerant about it.
DP, so do you name your truck? How about the rest of you all? I always have names for mine. Sometimes you can't say them in polite company, but I always have names for them. LOL!
Thanks for your indulgence Weegy.
Hugs for you, Emma & DD!

OK, here's a car thread everybody - post and chat to your delight! http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/999484/

I was going to suggest that very thing Kathleen! Great minds think alike.
SW, love the pictures and I don't mind this thread going to classic cars. I have always admired the Woody, would I love to have one now! We also had a Wagoneer, last us 15 years and it finally bit the dust...let me tell you, it was not the car we should have taken to Colorado a few years back to travel the roads less traveled. We almost ended up over a cliff because of that gutless beast.
Emma accepts your hugs as I do.
DP, the 52 is the one with 2 windows in the front, dh tells me you can custom make them that way. I enjoy driving that thing so much. I enjoy the thumbs up people give us when we're cruising out Rte. 66 aka Foothill Blvd. here. If you're ever in the area...let's cruise!!!!
Hugs to all, hope your weekend was fabulous.

Sorry about the mix up with the 2nd photo. I always get into trouble with thumbnails. That is a photo of the landscaping at the Harris Ranch Hotel along the 5 FWY. Notice the salvia? I'll post the truck photo on the other forum if I can ever find the truck photo again. LOL!
I'll have to see if I can get DH to take you up on your offer, or was that just for DP? I owe you a visit, any excuse will do. I'll have to check on the progress of the back window in his Mustang.
Maybe, I could get a chance to see Miss Emma too, if I am lucky!
Babies, I need a baby hug, spit up and all.

The offer was for anyone!

Fallbrook, CA(Zone 10b)

Be careful weeg, I may just take you up on that cruise!!

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Please do!

Menifee, CA(Zone 9a)

Pick a date, not the 4th of July, and we'll make it happen. Saturdays work best for us. It'll be fun. DP can stop on his way up, and collect us, and then we can have a caravan to your place then off to Rte. 66, or we could do it in reverse. LOL!

Fallbrook, CA(Zone 10b)

Jules, you may just have a good idea there. It's gonna be a while 'til the RU. Might be fun to do a little something before. I haven't met Louise & family yet. Being new here, (on DG and in CA) it is certainly nice to be meeting all these good people. I'm taking a little trip back east in a week or so, but after I get back, we ought to make this happen.

Menifee, CA(Zone 9a)

We really should check with weegy and check what is convenient for her. Looky what I took today.
From the front. If you want to see the rest you have to go to the other thread.
