She's still got all that hair although it's a little lighter now.
Ok, that's all for now, enjoy!

What a cutie! I can't believe she's still got all that hair!

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Well, her daddy has alot of hair. He shaves and an hour later, needs to shave again. Her mama was born with no hair but has a nice head of hair now.
Thanks, I adore her!

Sebastopol, CA(Zone 9a)

She's absolutely adorable, Weegy.

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Thanks Zuzu! We think so too!

Menifee, CA(Zone 9a)

Thanks, Weegy, we were all wondering how you and little Emma were doing. Emma is beautiful!

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

SW, I'm doing fine. Busy time of year and fighting gophers. I think I may have a handle on them now.

Menifee, CA(Zone 9a)

What is your gopher secret?
WIB!

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

I found a gopher bait from a local landscaper supplier here, bought a probe and dispense the bait deep into the tunnels. After about a month, I think I've got them controlled.

Concord, CA(Zone 9a)

OMG Emma is so cute, she looks like her Mom.
Nothing better than a Grandbaby, unless its several. lol

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

LOL, Linda!

Fallbrook, CA(Zone 10b)

Louise;
Emma is just beautiful. (I realize you already know that) Thank you for the pictures.

Here is a link for an absolutely great gopher killer. It's cheap and incredibly easy. You can get it at Ace Hardware as well as many others. http://doitbest.com/Mole+and+gopher+traps+and+repellants-Manning+Products-model-UE-12-doitbest-sku-708078.dib

This is something that my dad used to do using the lawn mower. The new spark arrester exhausts prevent you from doing that anymore. But this absolutely works. First hand knowledge speaking here.

Menifee, CA(Zone 9a)

That is the one I want, DP. Thanks for the link. I will show DH, and if he won't do it, I'll ask Lone Wolf to find one for me. You can use the exhaust from the car too? Well, we have a riding lawn mower and a tractor. One of them will work.
Thanks again DP! You Rock!

This one is designed to connect to your car or truck exhaust and then to a garden hose on the other end. If you ever get down to Fallbrook, Joe's Hardware has them. They're only 15 bucks. I've spent probably 10 times that much and not killed a one. This thing gets the entire colony and you don't have to worry about secondary kill factor that poisons can pose. The last thing we want is for the family cat to die from eating a poisoned gopher. This is simple carbon monoxide poisoning that won't hurt an animal that happens to eat the dead or dying gopher. It's also a painless death for the gopher for all those who may be squeamish about them suffering in death.

Great pictures, Louise! She's getting lots of lovin' for sure! Next time, have someone take a picture of you with Emma.

Tolleson, AZ(Zone 9a)

Louise she is so beautiful but then look at her grandma, momma and aunts!!

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

I keep waiting for a moment when I look ok enough to take a picture! Nope, can't find one!
Thanks Marie, I do think she's beautiful...like her mama and aunties and uncle! (you've been on my mind.)
Thanks Desertpirate, this gopher gadget looks like something I'm going to look into. I'm using the gopher bait but the cats are dragging dead gophers in and that scares me. Thanks for the link and info.

Menifee, CA(Zone 9a)

Thanks for letting us hijack Emma's thread weegy!
DP, you should post this info on the other thread about our garden pests/gophers. Lots of people would appreciate it, especially if they are looking for a topic specific subject. I've shown DH. He gets it. Says he'll be going by an ACE in Bakersfield later today. Let's hope he remembers to buy it! LOL!
Weegy, I was wondering if Emma is making eye contact and trying to hold up her head yet? She is such a darling, and we know how quickly they grow at this age. What a blessing!
WIB,
SW

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

She sure is SW! I'm here at her house right now!! She is a blessing and in store for some major spoiling none of which I will do!!
I am going to my ACE today to see if they have this gasser for gophers! I really like the idea that the cats or dogs won't have access to dead ones full of poison.
Thanks so much DP.

Fallbrook, CA(Zone 10b)

Didn't mean to hijack your "Emma" site Louise. But I certainly recommend that "Underground Exterminator".

Menifee, CA(Zone 9a)

Hey y'all if you don't hear from me for the next couple of days, it's because I'm going on a road trip with DH to the earthquake center of CA. Will take photos.
Will make sure I get the underground gopher exterminator.
It sure is nice now that one of my boys has a drivers' license. Free, Free at last!
Then I get to look forward to adorable grandbabies like lovely Emma! Give her a nice big hug and kiss from me. I don't even care if it is a sticky kiss!
WIB,
SW

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Hey, hijack away!, I don't mind.
Be safe SW, and have the relaxing time you so well deserve! Hugs!

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9b)

Louise, Emma is beautiful and I think she looks just like her grandma.
Now if she would have your 'natural' blond her, she would be a small replica of you. lol

Fallbrook, CA(Zone 10b)

Before you know it you'll be posting pictures like this one.

She is a beauty, DP !

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

What a sweetie DP! I know the time will pass quickly.
Thanks Rodica!

Fallbrook, CA(Zone 10b)

Seems like only yesterday when I was at the hospital in Pomona waiting for her to arrive. She'll be 6 in Sept.

She's sitting on a bicycle in that picture. That's why she looks a little uncomfortable. Rides it without training wheels. Scares the daylights outa me.

And where is a picture of Grandma Weegy holding the little cutie ?

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

I'll get one tonight for you all. It's my baby's 21st birthday and we're having pizza at our favorite pizza joint.
DP, Emma was also born at Pomona Valley Hospital! Your girl is so sweet.

Fallbrook, CA(Zone 10b)

That's really cool Louise. I remember a poster in the OB wing that did a play on the wording of their hospital. It's called the Pomona Valley Medical Center. They had a poster with a picture of a baby on it that said Pomona Valley "Miracle" Center.

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

I know of a couple of miracles that came out of there!

Fallbrook, CA(Zone 10b)

I know of three. My two and your one. All girls as it turns out.

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

That's for sure.

Fallbrook, CA(Zone 10b)

Are you gonna bring that little bundle to the roundup in Oct.???

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Hmmmmm, hadn't thought of it but that's an idea. Let's see if dd will let me!

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

Sp what's going on with the RU anyway ? There's been no mention of it for quite a while.

Fallbrook, CA(Zone 10b)

Bring DD as well, weegy.
