I just bought a new house and I no that the old owners planted things like Asparagus and some herbs but can anyone tell me if this is lettuce
There is red in the stem and it taste bitter and looks like a tubular bulbs but not sure

It sure looks like lettuce. It gets bitter when picked too late. Wait for another response to your post to confirm.

It could be a lettuce, but it sure looks to me like a dandelion!
Well Thanks for the infor I kept a few of them to see what they turn out to be but I don't no if they come back each year cause I never did plant them so we will see
