I purchased a garden pholx for the first time this year. It is beautiful and very fragrant. I'm wondering if I should dead head it to encourage more blooms. My guess is yes, but wasn't really sure.
Garden Phlox
I just got some too and am wondering the same thing. Where's ecrane and the other gals? :D
Yes, they will often put out a few more blooms from the leaf axils just below the spent flowerhead and it will happen a bit faster if you deadhead. It's not as big or impressive a bloom, but it's something :)
