Beautiful. I'm lovin' everyone's irises.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Thanks Allison, Jen, and Shelly!

Allison, I will be happy to give a piece of that iris a home! It definitely is not the one in the Plant Files link. It looks like it has darker blue streaking in it, which I love.

I really love that Duchess of Edinburgh clem, Victor! Spectacular!

Shelly, this place has Gala Madrid: http://www.degroot-inc.com/documents/DeGroot_IrisMailer.pdf . They have a bunch of luscious looking ones I like, but I don't see prices.

I usually mulch them after I trim them back and they do fine
I have a butterfly plant that I was told would not grow in my zone and it has made it with the two worst winters in many years since I cut it down to about a foot and put two bags of mulch with a plastic over it to keep it from getting wet and freezing

I will have to wait and see on this one if it makes it but will collect the seeds and try them to see what happens I have gotten some hybids to grow from seed but germination is very low like less than 10 per cent but I am a patient person I will keep trying till I get things right lol

Thomaston, CT

Good for you, Mona---butterfly bushes are iffy here, but they look OK this year. Victor, loved the pink iris, & white clem---all your clems are winners! Karen, you have a wonderful collection of hostas---Shelley, I, too, love that rhodo. Allison, I think my blue iris are the same, but don't know their name, either! Here is a hosta with huge leaves, & the vase shape of Krossa Regal----any ideas?

Robin, I think your vase shaped hosta is montana aureomarginata. Onewish, I love that little pale Heuchera with the red flowers!

The hosta are loving all this rain. This one is the most improved over last year in my garden...so much bigger. Tokudama Flavocircinalis
