Joycet, the Florida feet are in the chocolate sandals top left, the blue sandals would be directly to the right . Those are Florida feet in those dk. brown sandals .

Our work is not over yet. We caught one of her siblings at the shop.
It too is scrawny but I think this will have a better chance of making it.
The body is littered with jumping fleas... so that's a good sign at least.
Hope when Kel got her, had dead fleas.. that showed there's no nourishment left in her body.
This one is a male I think.. a little tuxedo cat. Immediately I gave him a bath. Sprrttt.. hissss... LOLOL.. You all can't imagine how happy those sounds coming from the little one made me.
I gave him some kitty formula, which it guzzled like no tomorrow followed with a dose of antibiotics. A few minutes later, it fell asleep. It must be relaxed, clean, flea free and full belly.

So, another important vigil continues.

I've been sitting here trying to read the thread, answer the phone and rip apart my bib overalls. Laughing so much,,,stuck my seam ripper in the seam and somehow broke the dang thing. boo hoo,,,,now have to go buy another one. so through trying to take the bibs apart for the night.

Welcome Gwen!!! and Hi Mary....7 Caves, is now called Cave Canyon Nature Preserve, and is about 70 miles due east of Cincinnati on Hwy 50...Cinci is about 30 minutes south of us...Cookie, Bertie and I, live
3 miles north of Middletown, OH right off of I-75...Middletown is exactly that...It is almost halfway between Cinci and Dayton...

When I was still working, I had a Patient that went to the VA about twice a month that lived east of Hillsboro on a lake property year round... he was just west of Cave Canyon on Hwy 50...Beautiful area!!! Even in an ice storm in the dead of winter!!! LOL Last time I loaded that dear man, there was over 9 inches of snow on his driveway...

I saw your other post Jaye, do you have pics of him yet? Is Cedric with you still, maybe Black-Tie affair can nap with him for security.

I've been to Middletown,,,there's a 'Ft. something ' near there,,,no fort actually, just where one used to be, it was a state park when I lived there. Ft. Ancient? can't remember for nothing now. and I remember driving down the road to Middletown and on a curve (sharp one) sat the neatest antique store. Can't remember what road I was on though, that was over 30 years ago. Gosh am I old!
Why did they change the name? Cave Canyon Natural Preserve? wasn't it just easier to say , 7 Caves? lol
The lake property, was it Lake Adams? I lived in Hillsboro for about 3 months. dead of winter. coldest place I have EVER lived. wind blew constantly, snow, snow snow.

I love that rock wall! Don't ask why, I don't have an answer,,,but I love rocks! guess because there is none like the sandstones from home. I don't call what they have here rocks,,,I call them lime deposits, lol,,,if you can find them. I love REAL rocks.

Hi Marilyn, I knew it was u when I read ur posting because I got the same smile on my face just like when I met u. I am really so glad to be able to get to know ALL of u. Sorry I am a little slow at this. Things pass by and I can't reply fast enough. Lol

all joking aside,,,I did carry back a pickup truck full once. My uncle gave me some of the biggest rocks with like fossils in them,,,,and do you believe one of my neighbors stole some of them? Honey I marched myself right over to that yard and 'stole' them back. The neighbors joke now,,,,don't mess with her rocks! She'll hurt you over those rocks!
If I ever get the chip back to the camera, I will post a pic of them. My uncle passed nearly 10 years ago,,,and I will always have these rocks he gave me. They are special to me, he drove his dozer up on top of this huge hill and brought them down to me. just for me,,,so they are special rocks.
