Huuergirl..how old are the clematis? If they were purchased as tiny seedlings they may take a year or two to get big enough to enjoy.

This poker primrose did not develop a normal looking poker. Wierd!

Can't think of the name of these at the moment but they are pretty this year and huge. Had to stake them as they were knocked over with the winds & rain a few days ago.

Hugger.. Sounds like they are not happy in their location if they are three years old. You may wish to try moving them to another location this fall. ;(

Alamogordo, NM(Zone 7b)

I don't know alot about clematis as they don't seem to do well in July and August here but mine did take a couple of years to start really growing.
Lovely photos beahive, especially the red lily and I love Disneyland. I have 2 and just love that they have such pretty blooms and stay short for me.
Yes huggergirl, love to be witness to Mother Natures miracles! My larkspur are dying back, and a new batch that was self seeded off of those are coming up. I usually get 3 or 4 batches in a season with never doing much myself except water of course.

Thanks All,Iam thinking too that moving them is my best bet for resurection !!! Ive been soo patient, about not digging them up,its ok,that just gives me a reason to rearrange the whole planting next to the garage!!! Thanks again,Tamara

Here's some of my climbing roses. Eight days of rain has really made them go crazy.

not really "cottage" but the Texas Sage outside my stucco walls blooms in response to rain--even though we only got a tiny bit, less than 1/2 inch I think.

Wow, mine has never had that many blooms on it. Probably too humid here for it to be really happy.

LMAO. Best. Picture. Ever! And it's not even OT for this thread, because there's flora near the fauna.

Gorgeous poppies! Would you be willing to give us your popps from a distance? I've love to see them in the garden!

Columbia City, IN(Zone 5b)

beahive,I love your poppies ,love the frog too, have you ever heard a bullfrog scream?? Its horrifying, they scream,as selfdefence,we had one in the yard wanted to move him down to the wetlands in a 5 gal. bucket,OMG you would have thought we were killing him,and no one was touching him, what a shock, didnt know that about frogs !! heres what came to visit today, probly a female coming over to lay eggs, she had to cross the road,we will keep a eye out for her ,hopfully we will be here when she goes back across the road,we will assist,a snapping turtle,30-40 pounds

peony8. This is my first year with poppies other than California poppies. I will see if I can get some shots but they are pretty random around the yard at this time. Hope next year there will be more. Letting most reseed in place.

Huggergirl.. I have not heard the bull frog scream, but I can imagine it is loud. Mine make this short screech when I startle them, then they jump into the water to hide. That turtle is awesome!

Alamogordo, NM(Zone 7b)

I love to see the whole garden too Beahive. Do you have a flickr slideshow or photobucket by chance?
