Malva,I can't tell,if this came back in the same place,did it reseed itself in the same place,or is it a bi-annual?

Mine reseed, even in cracks in the driveway. They seem to do very well in dry depleted soil.

We've had alyssum, impatiens, petunias and many others. I don't know why the chives haven't spread there...yet.
