So you think I have a little business.................................
Post your daylily blooms part 2
Anna, your Little Business looks like the correct one.
It's an older cultivar that's found in the wholesale nursery trade (I got mine at Central Market a couple years ago). I think that probably makes it easily mis-labeled.
Liz, your dad's Expo is beautiful. I love the seedlings also. Who wouldn't like those? They look great together. I don't have any the color of your purple one. That is a nice color.

charlene, I will be sure to bring you some of hte purple noid at the fall orund up. I won't have enough of Expo, He just intorduced last year and I only have a couple of fans at this time.
WOW! The Expo is exquisite. Love the name too. Reminds me of the World's fair in Montreal, Expo '67 ...now , if I were 5, that would make me.....
...just a couple of years older than me!
Anna...it would make you a lot younger than me!!! I was already married by then!
thanks for the compliments. I don't remember why he chose that name. It suffered damage last year and that is why I have fewer fans. My dogs (big great danes) decided to use that part of the bed as a path. Pilgrim Park is another intro that I didnt' even get a scape, let alone a bud because of damage. But they are better now. The dogs live, but I have put up a lot of crepe myrtle wattles to keep them our of the beds.
Steph, your noids have interesting color combinations. Wonder who their mommy and daddy are?
Thanks for the offer of the purple. I will treasure it. I'll have to bring you something. Let me know what you'd like. Remind me later, as I have developed a mild case of sometimers. You know, sometimes I remember and sometimes I don't.

Charlene, my NOIDs came in a box from Sam's, so there's no telling what kind they are other than oldies, but goodies.
Well, even if they had a name there is no telling if the label was right.;my Night Deacon from the big box is definitely something else
No idea, but it certainly is pretty!
Nice ones Sunshines. My poor daylilies are suffering from the heat wave. We have hit 106 here. That broke a record for the heat on that day. I have so much to water, I can't water everything everyday and that is what they need to deal with the heat. I bought a long mister and I am going to try putting it on my tomatoes. I think it will help. If it works, I may get more of 'em. Sam's has 'em for $29.99. They are certainly worth the try.
I am getting a few daylilies but I have been to busy to remember to photograph them and then when I think of it, I am too tired.
Stay cool everyone!
Charlene
The only thing blooming daylily wise in this heat is the ditch lilies and they are fading quickly.
i have about 4 different daylillies that sent up new scapes. It is too soon after the first bloom to call them rebloom. One of them is Expo that I posted earlier.
