Post your daylily blooms part 2

McKinney, TX(Zone 8a)

Becky, that's a pretty one. I was going to tell you to send me a picture of any of the noids that I gave you when they bloom. I should be able to id them, once they bloom, from my list of daylilies.

Sheila, not sure if you saw the answer above, but FFO=First Flower Open. Not a texting abbreviation (I don't text), but I did pick it up on the daylily forum.

This is FFO Springfield Clan, the first year I've had it. I'd bet that if it were measured, the span would be about a foot! My New Favorite (at least for yesterday!).

Beck, if you look closely at stoplight, you will see it is in the wildflower bed and not in the daylily bed. It was in quarantine because it was new. I only have one until it multiplies. I'll keep you on the list for one though.

Wow, we all have some pretty daylilies for certain. If I had to pick only one, I couldn't do it. I'd have to draw a number. They are all great!

Here is lady scarlet from the side.

LOL.. no way I could pick just one... I was teasing Charlene... but that new one is even prettier!! Love the side shot

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes, caught the description for the FFO. I have lots of those shots but not many very pretty.
I edited one of my pics, rechecked the tag...it was 'Strawberry Candy'.

Talihina, OK

This is a Oklahoma Ditch Lilly now I am sure every gardener knows what a ditch Lilly is ..Any way I saw this blooming in a ditch in front of a very old ranch house and stopped and asked(begged) for some and got the Daylillies and a new friend in the person of a 80 something lady with the energy of a teenie bopper

Grits, why don't you start a forum showing off your planter boxes. You could give instructions on how to make them.
I like the pic of the one you d-mailed me.

I have had three new dl's open, but haven't had time to photograph them. I will try to get the next buds photographed when they open.

LOL Charlene! I don't have a dog, but you might be able to lure the kitty with tuna.

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

I had to show stoplight again. This is the second flower on it. It is more beautiful that the first.

This little buger had a tag one time. I just can't find it now.

Glad I am not the only one that uses tags that fade or lost entirely!
Nice pictures Charlene and Sunshine... but Stephanie's Chance Encounter has that certain something!

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

I wish Chance Encounter would open fully for me, but the past 2 mornings its opened have been cloudy and a bit on the cool side. There are more buds, though, so I'm hopeful.

Today, one of my NOIDs looking lovely. This will is a profuse rebloomer.

Steph, I love the color on your Noid! I also like prolific bloomers. My Frans Hals have been going since the middle of May. They still have lots more buds to bloom.

If I can post a photo or two but am afraid I have no idea what I have. Tags are just a foggy memory on all of these.

I love this color, it looks good enough to eat!
