peach tree

My peach tree has small peach buds , but they are all over the ground I wrote a few months ago telling you that last year the peaches were falling off full size but green and hard , now they haven't even grown and they are falling .
Some one please help this is my second summer in this house ,I was told know one lived here for two years so the tree had no care untill I moved here . I realy wanted peaches this year Please help

Sounds like you need to water more deeply and and possibly more often. You can add a balanced fertilzer to help with the trees overall vigor, it might be too late to really get a good crop this year from the food you apply and the added water. Depending on your variety you just might get a little cycle of fruit before the summer is over. This fall try applying a "Starter " fertilizer. It is a fertilizer that is high in Phosphorous and Potash and low in nitrogen. It will give your tree the nutrients it needs to start the spring out right. Once Spring hits use a "Fruit" tree fertilizer once the leaves pop out.

(Be sure to follow the label directios and never apply fertilizer to the soil when it is dry)
