Becky's MGs Part 4

Jackmanii clematis blooms. They are also quite large. I rarely fertilize that area of the garden. But the plants seem to grow, thrive, and become quite large! I don't know what the secret is ...

This is the opposite end of that garden bed stretch. More caladiums growing at this end. Plus everything else ...

If it wasn't for gardening, I'd lose my mind completely. :-)

Mexican Sunflower that I am letting just grow to it's heart's content. It never blooms because I always cut it back before it can. I'm letting it go wild this time! Let's see if I get any blooms ...

Not sure if this one ... is a cross or changed colors because it got wet.

Gourd bloom and vine.

Another one I am not sure about. This one is a volunteer. I believe it is Shibori Purple, but looks like it has some pink in there too. Not sure if the pink is because it got wet, is an older bloom, or is a cross... Hmmm ...

Another bloom on Keiryu. Looks like stardust sprinkled on the petals. This one I did a double-take on when I walked by it. Beautiful!!

This is why I love MGs so much! The blooms are unmatched by any other plant, IMHO. :-)

A few new morning glories bloomed today.

This one was labeled George Strait. I don't know what GS is supposed to look like, so not sure if this is accurate. It could also be a volunteer vine from last season. Ronnie was kind enough to share this seed with me! I really like it! It is right next to my Pink Porcelain Blizzard vine. :-)

This one is the climbing vine that sprouted and is growing up and out of the pot of mounding morning glories in the old birdbath. Looks a little like Lavender Mist, but not sure.

Edited to say: I bet it is a form of Rabenda x President Bush because of the solid green leaves.

Pink Porcelain Blizzard im in love

Here is a photo taken further away. You can see the pot of Sun Smiles and Kawaii and this vine is growing right of the center of the pot and climbing up the trellis. LOL!

First bloom from my MG Bush (Ipomoea carnea). I am so happy to see this bush finally bloom! YAY!

imzadi - Glad you like it as much as I do! She's a beauty for sure. Hoping for lots of seeds from her to share, too! :-)

Here is today's blooms of Diluted Fuji no Muraski. This is one of my favorites from the current grow-out! I just marvel at the beauty of this vine!

This is Aogakiyama x Chocolate Silk. The leaves on this one have the most variegation I've ever seen! It's beautiful! Large, richly colorful blooms and variegated leaves! Quite a winner in Becky's book! :-)

I got amazing blooms on my Suji no Sora x Kikyo Pink. It doesn't look like either, though ... so not sure what it is!

This one must be a volunteer or something. I have no idea where it came from... well... it came from a seed. But where that seed came from ... I haven't a clue????!!!

Keiryu. One of my favorites of the blues... if I could pick only one! Ack! But I can't!!!

Pink Flaked I. purpurea vines ... Carnevale di Venezia blooms. :-) It was loaded with blooms again today. I have been hand-pollinating this vine, so it is also loaded with seed pods!

Definitely , I like to see sometime pics more larger with 2 or 3 flowers.
Only the face of Miss World , it's not enough . We need to see the silhouette !

Dany - Thanks! It's hard to get a silhouette because it is right up against the tall fence. I'll see what I can do in the future. ;-)

I just have a cheap camera I bought a couple years ago on sale. It's a Kodak Z712. It does have a macro setting on this camera. The one thing that I do not like about it - some colors don't photograph true. It's almost like the camera doesn't recognize certain colors. Especially the vivid blues and purples.

Dany - Here is a photo of the two vines I have growing together in that one garden bed. This is a photo of Aogakiyama x Chocolate Silk and Diluted Fuji no Muraski. The almost white variegated leaves come from the Aogakiyama vine. The DFNM has solid green leaves.

So there you can see the larger view of the vines. :-) I hope that helps. This photo doesn't show the Aogakiyama blooms.

Well ... duh! I guess it would help to actually post the photo, huh? LOL!

Thanks for the really nice compliments on my blooms/vines. I, too, am amazed at what a beautiful assortment I am growing this year so far. I am hand-pollinating as many as I can in hopes that I do get plenty of seeds to share.

Start making your list for seeds from me. I will certainly share whatever I get in seeds from these beautiful vines! As always, I will send a dmail around to invite your request for what you may want. :-)

Darren - I am sure I will have plenty of the Pink Flaked seeds to share. The vines are currently loaded with forming seed pods! :-) Keep track of what you want from me. My thought is that most of my vines will have ripe seeds by the end of June. :-)
