New Guinea impatiens prefer some shade, esp. during the hottest part of the day. Water them when the soil feels dry. Your lilies may not be blooming because lilies bloom only a certain time of the year. Are others in your neighborhood blooming?

New Guinea impatiens does not tolerate heat. They are best grown in the shade or bright light where it is cool. They also like humidity. It isn't an easy plant to grow if their growing conditions aren't to their liking.
