Trisha, I have a Brother over in Bremerton, and even though he loves the area, he said he needs some sunshine! When you have rain 6 out of 7 days of the week, it gets to you! he said they are not heavy rains, but just the constant drizzle. It is always wet, and he said they have problems with the moss growing everywhere!

Even though they are very close to us, they tend to get more cloudy rainy weather than we do here.....it isn't bad.....we have wonderful summers....no triple digit temps, no high humidity, thunder storms or tornados......I'll keep it!

Glad everyone is having a blast.

My Morning started off poopy.I want out side to feed and water the baby Mallards.I was trying to find out what was upsetting them,and when i started to water them i looked over and saw a chicken snake behinde the rabbit cage the ducks are in until they are feathered out.I run and got alex out of their and grabed any thing i could to kill it.It took me a hour to kill that booger.It was scared of me like i was with it.I was dripping sweat by the time i killed it.

Mine's in the coffee today Jax. It's chilly here and that really warms me up. Oh - here comes the sun!!! I'll just toss in an ice cube and be all set.....

all righty now! was outside playing inthe dirt....but tween the raccoons, ducks, rabbits, etc....gatting on me nerves.....gave up! came inside to take a sippy!

Who meee??? The local garden center had a three tiered fountain, several ground feeders and birdbaths...stepping stones and a garden bench made from Gunera leaves and they were not selling them cheap!.....Can't afford a Gunera even if I had a place to put it, but I have lots of Rhubarb Leaves!!!!

Honey, sand and cement are Manna from heaven to an artiste`...
I have some Pawlonia leaves here I'd love to send to you...

Oh, LK... Yep... they've all had ice cream, cake and cookies after bbq today...

Some of us just went out on the jet skis, and some wen't out on the pontoon with Don...
I think our ride on the jet skis was a bit more adventurous than Don's group had... but I'll let Stacey tell you all about that.
My heart is still pounding.

Everyone seems to be having a great time... but I'll let each of them tell you their own version.

Hello Ladies,

I could name everyone of you in the picture. I was telling my mom who was who ^_^.

Spent all day outside getting storage shed organized and planted some plants that were in peat pots. Very tired, and my feet and back are aching. Gonna take a shower and call it a night.

OH gotta go mom says dinner is ready. Sure is nice to have some decent food instead of the junk Rick eats all the time. I'm getting lots of fresh veggies.......^_^

Oh LK, I'm so sorry you're not here.... :o( We had wonderful homemade ice cream. I had the vanilla with dark chocolate chips and walnuts...TO DIE FOR!!!

Don's brisket was melt in your mouth....I thought I made good brisket....but that smoker....just does not compare to liquid smoke! They're treating us like royalty and we're loving every minute of it.

I do have to tell you that Cedric is seeing a new side of things here....I sure hope he survives it!

Y'all take care of my little green friend now....just remember he's a youngster.....

Home made Vanilla and anything with Walnuts is to die for.....as is real Texas Brisket!!!

Frog Wisdom:

Once upon a time there was a bunch of tiny frogs... who arranged a running competition. The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower. A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants... The race began... Honestly: No one in the crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower. You heard statements such as: "Oh, WAY too difficult!!" "They will NEVER make it to the top." or: "Not a chance that they will succeed. The tower is too high!" The tiny frogs began collapsing. One by one... Except for those, who in a fresh tempo, were climbing higher and higher.. The crowd continued to yell, "It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!" More tiny frogs got tired and gave up...

But ONE continued higher and higher and higher... This one wouldn't give up! At the end everyone else had given up climbing the tower. Except for the one tiny frog who, after a big effort, was the only one who reached the top! THEN all of the other tiny frogs naturally wanted to know how this one frog managed to do it? A contestant asked the tiny frog how he had found the strength to succeed and reach the goal? It turned out... That the winner was DEAF!!!!

The wisdom of this story is: Never listen to other people's tendencies to be negative or pessimistic...because they take your most wonderful dreams and wishes away from you -- the ones you have in your heart! Always think of the power words have. Because everything you hear and read will affect your actions! Therefore: ALWAYS be... POSITIVE! And above all: Be DEAF when people tell YOU that you cannot fulfill your dreams!

Well, I can't wait to hear everyones stories, but I know they will continue for months on here! Glad to hear you are all enjoying the jet ski's, the great food, and the company of BJ, Don and Mike! Is Mike there, or is he visiting someone for the week-end?

Mike is is not sleeping here, but he's been here in the day-time.

Last night we crashed a neighbor's party...now we have another title...party crashers...while enjoying ourselves yesterday, a man came strolling up and said I noticed you all having a lot of fun, so thought I'd come join you. Mike came in the gazebo with us and very seriously said....I KNOW drunk people....and HE'S drunk!!! Marion and I thought we'd die trying not to laugh at his serious statement!!


Today is the day Stacey gets her tatoo!!! Wahoooooo, can't wait to see that!

Jaye and Kel are heading out shortly. They're flying home today. :o(

Well about the jet ski's.... hummm,,,,, So Stacy was my driver. I was scared to death,,,Not of Stacy, of the whole get on the jet ski thing, So Stacy is going slow letting me get used to the whole lots of water and small machine thing!!! Well I got used to it and we got to going faster then Stacy got really into it and she is having a blast. Actually I was too!! Anyway she decides she likes the whole bouncing up and down flying across everyone wakes. Not being careless, just having fun,,, Well after a few minutes of doing this she accidently cut to the left to hard and off flys the ELF!!! I hit the water and then I see Stacy had flown off too!! We did the brave thing,, ( yeah actually we was scared..lol) We got back on the jet ski and took off again. Poor Stacy, she was so upset, cause she thought we were mad at her,, But the funny thing was,,, I was so scared of falling off and I did fall and I did not Die or get hurt,, so I ended up giggling my head off alll the way back to the house!!
So this is the version of my jet ski episode!!!!!

Well, yesterday I had a ton of fun on the jet ski.But, I had a little issue. I was trying to go over as much backwash as I could and BJ created some for me........I took a sharp turn and dumped me and Kris in the lake. UGH-I have never worn a life vest B4 and mine was moving up around my face and I didn't know how to swim in it-kinda freaked out a little....Kris told me how to swim in it and then she helped back on the ski. The funny thing was that BJ had said "we have tried to purposly fall off and have never been able to" so I didn't even worry about it!!LOL And going through so much backwash I was soaked and had just commented on how the crotch of my shorts was dripping wet-Kris said hers was still dry and then-PLOP-in the water we went!!LOL

I swear-if it is going to happen, it will happen to me inevitably.....

Totally excited for my tattoo!!! Wearing my strapless bra and dress-so I am good to go!!!!

I miss you all and maybe next year it can truly be all of us together!!
