No it's not Synda.
Leslie, Kel's brother was bed ridden for about 7 years. When he received his 20 years HS reunion invitation, I wrote to the class president of his condition. Not one came to visit him.. and the sad thing was many knew about his illness, being this is a very small town.
Poor Leslie was crushed.. not even a letter nor a card.
At his funeral, some of his so called classmates came... but MIL turned her back on them ...

I know what you need to bring to BJ, Judy!!!! If you could show us your doe skin wedding dress that would be so neat!!!
But I know it's too precious for you to risk losing it!

Well it just irks me,that was an important time in Ry's life.And I feel what comes around goes around.

My pappy always said every road has a turn.So you better watch how you drive.

Your pappy's a wise man Synda. Time to say goodnight to you.. and Cody... :D
Tomorrow will be a better day for us all..

Morning everyone, the sun is up here in Alabama.. so the elf is going out to play,, or I should say I am crawling out to the greenhouse this morning,, I really over did it yesterday and woke up to tingling hands and arms. So here I am off to do it again today!!

Fairy Fingers... I plan on setting up my laptop in a common place for everyone to log on to DG when they want... If any of you want to bring your laptop... we do have wireless internet... so you can connect from anywhere in the house... Mike even sits out on the deck and chats with his friends.

Well I suppose I need to get running on cleaning up.. Max is working this afternoon and tonight but he has to get the truck fuel line fixed beore he goes so I need to get him moving..

O I wante dto share my curbside find from this morning.. It may not look lik emuch right ths second but what a beautiful old dresser.. It has dovetail drawers and the original backs are still on it.. Ever though someone screwed a piece of wood on the back (not sure why its sound) I think I may sand it down and put a fresh stain on it.. Maybe keep it for the twins or sell it to make alittle extra cash (since the drawers are small) .. Also got a brand new baby changing station at the curb that I can clean and re-sell..

I guess Im curb shopping for money... lol

I notice that yesterday Jaye mentioned that her house is a WIP... well, all of you coming to my house... expect the same... we're in constant repair, upgrade, re do mode here. We have several unfinished projects that is in some level of WIP. So, just over look that part, and try to imagine what it will be someday... There's no way we'll get it done by Friday... maybe not even this year.

We're thinking that maybe this fall, or winter, we'll start on the sun porch. But in the mean time... it's pretty much a wreck.

Marion... you ok ??? I am so sorry to hear about the kitty... I know you're feeling so bad right now. My heart goes out to you, sistah.

Well, dough should be chilled... back to the kitchen.

So quit worrying besides they are coming to see You and each other. Marion, Deborah and Kris are going to have a blast on their road trip. Sure hope they remember the Depends, lol.

Thanks Synda and LK,i know one is a soild white,red,i think one with red and white.I don't know the other ones.The lady didn't remember the names of them.They sell daylilies too.The white one she soild me,she said that everybody alway wanted one but she would not sell them until yesterday.I was the first person that she sold one too.I felt really special.Not just that she sold me the mother of the white ones instead of a baby one.I don't think her hubby was pleased about that.She was a very nice lady.I don't think she wanted us to leave but we had to.It took us about 2 hours to get home.I will just have to wait and see what all colors bloom.She also gave me free poppy seeds and a Canna.All the Amaryllis plants had big bulb on them but she sold them to me for 5.00 a plant.I got a baby bulb for free to,that was the 7th plant.

Cookies! Goody...I had asked Stacey if she had some of the chocolate chip ones left she made last week or had my DS eatten
them all. I have packed some apples and other snacks for the trip.

You high tech ladies with your lap tops! I am stuck with a PC so will have to tap into yours.

I hope I am bringing the right clothes. Not that I am worried about fashion (that went long ago) but just want to be comfortable. We are so used to the cool temps up here that your weather will be really something. Well, at least the car is clean, inside and out. We'll see how we can dirty it up on the drive.

Thank you everyone for your prayers. A/C and nursing TLC is working well. Mom did PT yesterday without sedation and can't wait to go home. I told her she can as soon as she can easily walk again. Sounds like it's something that is inoperable (thank God) and a matter of lifestyle changes and ongoing PT. I can't give her a kiss and a hug yet, not with having just flown and having a cold.

Marion, Randall and I have you in our prayers. When he lost his cat Wellington, a "grande dame" calico, he was in mourning for years. hasn't been able to think about another yet. Thank goodness we got Hope instead. She is his busom bud.

will post some garden AIS nationals tour photos shortly in the iris forum. but since many of the gardens were not in full bloom, I have more from other aspects of the gardens. here's one from the St. Jo's tours. having to have some where there's no recognizable people in them,,, I took more people shots than garden shots!

Thanks so much everyone. Yes, I will miss my kitty as she was my sewing/quilting kitty. I have been told, not sure, that she had lived a very long time for a full blooded Manx so I will cherish my memories and know she is in a better place. Besides, my hubby had taught her to chase paper balls when she was a kitten like a puppy will do. I can just vision them playing a game of paper ball now!! It will be strange not having her curled up near the foot control when I go to sew!!

We are having some really high winds today--sure hope the disappear before tomorrow! OMG!!!!! TOMORROW? It is really here? Car not cleaned, apples have been purchased, drinks chilling, now where is the cooler? Clothes? What ever happens to fall into the suitcase is the way I plan what I wear Janice. Doing a double check: items I told BJ I would bring packed--check!

Off now to check on the lemony things in the oven. Now who was it that likes lemon? I do vaguely remember someone going to be there liking lemon--or was I dreaming? Oh well house smells good anyways.

Well, My daughter just called,,, they have taken my grandson to the emergency room, he is having trouble breathing. Gryphon is 11 years old and is my first grandchild,, so I am sitting here having a fit cause there is no way for me to get to the hospital. When I was at my mom's getting rooms ready for my move in I came across this picture of me and my late hubby. This was taken in"94" at the Black & White Ball. Every summer my hometown puts on an outdoor ball. It has a different theme every year, but everyone wears black and white. This was the very first one we attended and it was a blast. I also took my mom and dad. People come from hundreds of miles away to attend this ball. They have had some well know bands there throughout the years. Several resturants set up booths and the food is always yummy.

This picture is one of my very favorite of Francis and I. I hope you don't think it was tacky of me to post it.

don't know what I'd do without Randall. It was very very easy to be single - after I got used to thinking of myself that way - after my divorce. But Randall's got me spoiled rotten. Can see why you loved him. His eyes and face are kind, like Randall's.

Bonnie, how many days a week will your mum get PT? There's a church brother when he had a stroke, he intentionally checked into a nursing home, much to his family's protests, so he could get PT 5 days a week. He walked with a cane within a month. Once he's walking he came home.
If he had stayed home, he will only get PT from a therapist assistant, twice a week.. doubt he'd be walking at all.

Cindy, you are lucky to have had such a nice man be called your husband. It also make it difficult for you to find another perfect man..
I am sure when times are tough, you call upon those beautiful memories you had of Francis.

Donna my cousin Tracy lives in Dublin,and she is in one of the ritzy housing allotments.And she says on trash day you can't believe what people throw away.Really nice stuff,just because they might want a change.

Bon and I have been to Bj's place, and I know it will be ready when you get there! Her place is awesome, and I know you all will love it! The view is to die for, and sitting in the lower level at night in her gazebo was so nice! I enjoyed my trip when I was there very much!

I just got home from a 4 hour Dr. visit. It was for my annual exam, and it turned into blood work, and everything else she could think of! I have to go in for a bone density test on the first, due to my arthritis! Most of the four hours was sit there and hurry up and wait!

Stomach's still not settled yet. There was unnecessary drama last night.. not with Kel.. and it still affect my psyche. Some people, no matter how many times you tell yourself to leave them to the Lord.. still have a way to turn your tummies inside out.. with their malice.

She just called me to let me know someone helped h'self to MY sugar free cookies, and will be baking me something else instead.
