Are crickets good or bad for a vegetable garden?
I know they are a pain indoors and love to eat cardboard.
Are crickets good or bad for your garden?
I never saw crickets hurt flowers or vegetables. They are just annoying inside!
I second and third the annoying inside comment. I just had one manage to get into my bedroom wall and naturally not make a peep until I was trying to go to sleep. I knocked on the wall trying to shut it up and it migrated overhead into a light fixture. After trying to get to sleep for over an hour I finally wound up disassembling the light fixture in the middle of the night.
I've never seen them in the garden.
I have crickets in my mulch and in my compost pile. I read that they can eat roots as adults. Maybe I should catch them and sell them as pet food!
