Thats what I thought - oh well maybe we will see THIS year....
Garden Photos of '09.... #19
nice pictures everyone - there sure have been lots of them!
What a cutie!
She's beautiful!
Thank you both! She is a very happy baby.....always!
Pixie she's is THE cutest!
Thanks all. I know now that I'll have to share lots of blue blue flower pics!
Your garden is looking great JoAnn!
Pixie..... thanks for sharing Oryanna with us!! She's so cute!!
Willie.... Good luck with the Meconopsis! It's well worth it if any turn out for you. I have just one little piece of advice, if you haven't already noticed it. When the little babies are first coming up.... they look like young dandelions, so beware when weeding!
Just beautiful everyone!
Oryanna is such a baby doll, gorgeous!
Monet is my Great Book of Lists. YA! you put the zenobia in PF. I just luv that one. That is a very funky weird clem bud. Pic please when it opens.
uh oh. foliage pic please. I had one with flowers like that did a take over. I never found out the name.
Okay - I'll get one.
It looks like it Victor. Get it gone. Stupid me cut it back and it bloomed a second time. Next year billions.
First time I've seen it. What is it??
I'd like to know too! I thought it was some species of silene which is not supposed to be invasive here. It was pre-DG days so I never found out.
Looks pretty!
You have the best looking weeds, Victor!
Sweet flag = I. pseudocorus Pick off any seed pods so it doesn't spread; very invasive if you don't get rid of the seeds.
Victor your Daphne blooms are just lovely. This spring I purchased a small one from Bluestone Perennials. Is it a slow grower?

Robin I love oxalis , have hardy ones too but different looking than yours.

Robin.... I say that mines a mess because of all of the well maintaned, well behaved yards that I see here! My yard is in sections. The front (shade beds) is in good shape for now, the side is messy - but ok, the back I'll never show in a picture until I get the weeds out of there!!. And "the island" is an overgrown jungle.
Victor.... I love that fern... is it A. 'Ghost'? that clematis is neat too!
Confussed - yes it's a very slow grower.
Shelly - I believe it is Ghost.
Pixie - that is an adorable pic of Oryanna, and her outfit is just perfect!!
Victor - your photography skills just keep getting more and more professional! All of your shots were lovely, but that shot of the euphorbia is like a painting! Nice job!
JoAnn, pretty shot of the foam flower garden!!
Here is a shot we took this morning of the lady slippers that are already in full bloom, about 3 weeks ahead of time. We do an annual count of them on our roads every year in June, and here they are already!! I believe our count last year was over 300 of them.
