I love the Cattle Egret! Just got it on my list when I was down Cape May.

They are common down here.

Have a new one, it's the Common Yellowthroat Warbler!

Black-capped Chickadee, they are such curious little birds. Whenever I'm out and doing something around the feeders , they have to come check, to see what's new.

Chipping Sparrow are use to me as well. They will come eat, when I'm just a few feet away.

I saw my first one of those a couple of weekends ago. Never was very good with the Warblers or sparrows.

I saw a Yellow Rumped Warbler ,Myrtle, in my yard yesterday but couldn't get a photo. Too active. Was nice to see it .

Beautiful pix everyone! Here is my resident fisher-man at my pier this morning for breakfast.

Nice photos, everyone. This week, I had a pair of Rose-breasted Grosbeaks passing through. They stayed for 2 days.
Here is the male.

And the female ............. I might see them again in the Fall as they migrate southward.

Little dog stopped in the right spot right next to this tree at just the right time I guess!

I see this Gray Catbird in the same spot every morning. If I stop and stand real still it will get within 3 feet of me. At least until another bird sounds the alarm and then it will fly off a bit, but not too far.

This Chipping Sparrow was paying no attention to me at all!

Adelbertcat, Really good shot of the Osprey, They are quite active now along the Okanogan R.
24, I know which birdhouse the Bluebirds here at my place have decided on, but don't think any babies yet, nice shot of the bluebird flying in.
The orioles are busy eating the grape jelly.

Haven't taken any pictures since the Tanager, too busy trying to get my sdlgs. planted out now that the weather is (maybe/probably) going to be warm enough.

The Blue Jays are in a frenzy mode right now! They coma & go ALL day, up until dusk!!

Caught this one on the act! A Brown Thrasher in the back yard. There is a nest these birds had built in one of my shrubs on the sideyard -- in which I tried not to walk too close so that I won't disturb them.

Very nice Lily!

Thanks for the pictures, particularly of the catbird and the thrasher. I truly miss both of them, particularly their wonderful songs.
