OK so maybe I want too far here....

My boss asked me 2 days ago if I like hot peppers... I tell her I love them and I have an awesome garden. (I actually said that "awesome") She says "oh do you have those little chili peppers?" .. Yep I do, I have over 30 pepper plants of every Variety I could find, because I love them peppers... So today I was watering and I wanted to see exactly how many pepper plants I have... The first count was 81, the second time I counted it was 86... (they not exactly in rows). So I finally realized that I might have overdone it with the peppers. Please tell me I am not the only one....

I'm down to 93 from my original 144.... 5 different varieties though.

The good news is I'm down to 22 tomato plants from my original 96 :P

I guess I can say I am lucky because I only have 7 tomato plants now.... I have only eaten tomato when it when it was blended as ketchup or salsa..... I WILL eat a tomato this year. Thats a promise to myself..... In the next month I will eat my first tomato from my garden.... I hope I don't end up like Angelz79 with 144 plants next year.... I'm jast happy i'm not the only loon....

I have one chilli plant :) Although it is my first one - it's an initial trial and error.

I did want a jalapeno plant but hardly anywhere sells the seeds here (they don't sell the plants).

Ratfood.Buy gallons and gallons of vineger and find the nearest wino. My sister saves her wine bottels and I use Purple purivan chillie peppers. White vinegar makes a hotter sauce, cider vinegar a sweeter hot sause. I loves my cooked greens. I put it on Pork, steak and chicken befor the dry rub, then grill it ofcourse. The regular size bottles end up in friends kitchens ,the small size bottles are christmass stocking stuffers, or partey gifts. Hope I could help you. I'd anticipated having space for about 4 tomato plants in my garden, but when I started the seeds, I decided to start a few extra for friends, whoever might want them . . . Had no idea how many. Last night I counted them - 22. I don't have THAT many tomato-growing friends!

I don't usually eat tomatoes, but I love salsa and tomato sauce.

I have 30 plants consisting of 13 varieties. I love 'em and while I don't grow a large quantity I do try to grow as many different varieties as I can in order to sample a few of each. I generally try to grow peppers not normally available at the grocery here. My friends and I sit around and eat them to see who cries the most. Good times. I'm growing some pretty hot stuff this year so we should all be drowning in our tears soon enough.
