My Schefflera plant is leggy and ugly. Can I cut the tops off and root them? If so, should I root them in water or in Jiffy Mix? Thanks.

Yes, they can be done by both the air layering, or stem but I would add a root horomone as well.

Thanks, RachelLF. Do I need a special planting medium to root the stem? I have regular potting soil (good brand) and Jiffy Mix on hand.
