Close up of Fantasica. The color in the phot is true to the plant! Yummy Pink!

I need to retake the picture of the whole plant on this NOID, but it was huge. Here is some of the blossoms. One head of these would make a complete bridal bouquet!

Here is the Macro shot of Irene Kostner. It is so fab! The colors and the markings are fantastic!

Red..I know you will like this one. It was HUGE! Could not find the name tag,but worth shooting a pic on this one.

There was what appeared to be a new bed of the planted. They are called Kalinka Pink. They are so vibrant and pink!


That ends the Rhodie show for now. They were terrific!

This picture is aweful as I forgot to turn of my macro setting. Will go back soon and do it right. I just want you to see the size of these clematis. There were 5-6 of these towers outside the childrens garden.

Each was covered with Millions & Billons of the beautiful flowers.

This is a new attraction. It is a living wall. It now only has small plant plugs in it, by once it fills in I am sure it will be wonderful! Giving me idea as I run out of space on my small lot. Go UP!

This is a Gunnera "seedling" just getting started. This one was huge last year and it looks like it is on its way to a great summer! Wish I had room for one of these!

The tropical house had some beautiful plants. Could not find any ID tags however. Frustrating!

I will be posting some macro shots of some of the coleus on the macro & coleus forums. They are very pretty close up!

You might post the clematis pictures in the clematis forum. I'll be they'd be happy to see them.

Kathy, Thanks. Next time you come down this way to see your folks..I will take you to the gardens if you have time. It is getting better each year ..but I sure wish they would work in plant ID's.

Thanks, Bea. I do so agree with you on the plant labelling. We had the same frustration when we were touring Dunn Gardens here in North Seattle. I like to know what I'm looking at.

Bea, Absolutely beautiful pictures. My oh my, the gunnera is a monster. I planted one this spring, almost killed it. It is only about an inch big. But at least it is alive!

Definitely beautiful pictures and plants Bea! I love them all, but your right, I really love the old rhody. And of course you now have my brain spinning as of to what the id of it is. Those clematis are awesome too. what a great trip you must have had!!
