ID for plant or weed????

This is growing near irises and daisies. It appears to be spreading. Does anyone know if it is a weed or something that I would want to keep? Thanks.

I love my wild violets but they will spread. To pull them, I water till the ground is soggy, they come up easier, roots and all. The way they are all in a clump makes me wonder if they are a special variety. I have some that have multi-colored flowers that I don't pull. You might wait to see if they bloom.

I think they're pretty too cathy4. I leave some in certain areas of my yard but not in my flowerbeds. And they do pull out fairly easy.
