I've been reading that I should not give fertilizer to my seedlings because they could burn. What I am confused about is the fact that I am using "Schultz 'Plant Food'" which I would assume is less strong than actual fertilizer. Is it okay for me to use this "Plant Food" on my seedlings, or is it the same as giving them fertilizer? The strength is only 10-15-10, and I only use 7 drops per quart of water.
Fertilizer vs. plant food; is there a difference?
It's more a matter of terminology than anything else. This "Plant Food" is a standard 2-3-2 fertilizer. They are having you dilute it quite a bit, so it's not likely to burn your seedlings, but it's fertilizer.
