Phughes, I love orange flowers almost as much as you love the pink ones. I will post a warning the next time that I have a orange bloom to show. lol
The Hibiscus is from Rockport and it is Gator's Pride.

May 4, Fredrump posted a query to identify a white blooming shrub/tree. I think it is Cordia boissieri. Common name in Texas is Anacahuita. Native in extreme south Texas and northeastern Mexico. Planted here in San Antonio in zones 8B and 9A. Freezes in extremely cold winters, sometimes to the ground, but regrows.

joeswife--If you notice, there are seed pods on my bower vine. If you want me to send you some seeds when the pods ripen, LMK and I will. It will be awhile since they are still very green. I think RJ might have grown one from seed I sent him. He could let us know how hard they are to germinate.
