Winecup help please!

This is the plant I have (Callirhoe involucrata):

And this is the problem that has appeared. Is this rust? There are about four or five plants spaced out across the bed along the front (some side by side, others with stuff in between). The spots started on one plant at the end, and over the last 4 - 5 days (since I noticed) it has marched along the line and is now on three. What do I do?!?

(Sorry it's not sharper, very hard to be still long enough for focus w/o tripod) Close-up of back of leaf:

And finally, front of leaf (FYI - shiny bits on leaf are water droplets, it rained this morning):

Oh, and it is only on this particular kind of plant.

It does look like it could be rust--I'm not sure if Callirhoe is typically susceptible to rust or not, but here are some tips on prevention: http://www.ehow.com/how_3036_detect-prevent-rust.html

Thank you. I have sulfur spray so I will clip and spray and see how it goes.

Well I went to wildflowers.org and they say: "Winecup is susceptible to a rust during wet seasons" ::sigh:: it's been wet...

The good news is rust isn't usually fatal, and if you practice good hygiene (cleaning up rust infected leaves, etc) and do some preventative things like watching what time of day you water and trying to keep water from splashing on the leaves, you may not have problems every single year. Obviously there's not a lot you can do if Mother Nature helps you out with a lot of moisture, but if you do those things plus spray with a fungicide before symptoms appear, that can go a long way to making sure it doesn't become a huge problem year after year.

I read to clip off the affected leaves, which I will do.Then I will spray with sulfur. I did read that rust is very specific to certain plants and that it will probably not appear on any of the others in the bed. I have only watered once so far this year because it keeps raining - so far the last month we've gotten a bit over 8 inches. I'm not complaining tho, it's better than a drought.
