What are people's experiences with regard to Jerry Baker's rather unorthodox gardening methods?
Jerry Baker' gardening tips.
I'm not personally a fan of his ideas--he has all these recipes for things to use on your plants, but a lot of times you're getting alcohol or something else that could potentially hurt your plants along with it, and to get the same good things that his recipes providing, you could easily get it from something else that was designed to be used on plants. And he's one of those people that overly hypes his ideas without a lot of scientific evidence to back it up which is always a red flag to me. Some people really swear by his stuff though, I'm sure someone will be along who's had some good experiences with his recipes and then you can make up your own mind whether you want to try them or not.
I believe in using scientifically proven methods.
His old wives concoctions can indeed cause more harm than good.
Chewing tobacco, beer and ammonia I don't think so.
How does his garden look??? :)
Hmm....Tir-Na-Nog, that may be the best answer/comment ever posted on this forum. Cheers to you! Anne
