Please help with planting Vinca minor

I just bought a tray of Vinca minor to plant in a bare spot in my yard and I neglected to grab one that had instructions with it. I am in zone 4a, just outside Stillwater, MN, and I'm wondering exactly when and how I plant them. Does anyone have any tips for me? Thanks!

If you're past your last frost date, it should be safe to plant them outside now. I have some in a shady area as living mulch in a flowerbed. I amended my soil (clay) with peat moss, put in the plants even with the soil line, watered them, tamped the soil back in around them, and watered them in good. They've been in for almost five years now and I haven't had to do anything else with them except put a little slow release fertilizer on them each spring. Down here they are evergreen but I'm not sure if they are up in MN. Hope this helps.
