lol....too funny dahlia! I've cut myself with a meat slicer and electic knive before!! many have! Haven't cut myself with a saw though....
Every good sawyer has a healthy fear of saws! If they don't, some day sooner than later and due to their lack of fear, they wont be around to express their newly found fears.
Victor.... those movies give me night mares, and are an educational tool of what not to do. ...especially for co-workers.
Schicken..... What kinda of poppy is a persian blue poppy or the other one that you mention? If they are Meconopsis, then yes.... next year for a bloom :-( But, once in a while a rarity happens and they bloom the first year. I think that your project is coming along really well. More expeditiously than anything that I do!
Phoebe, I would love a caddie! What fun that would be!! What interesting stories that would make for future telling too!
Robin, I'd love to follow your line up. I have two requestes though. Albany, New York. One of my best friends and her DH live there (although, might move back to Ma.) and maybe as far south as Tennessee to visit some old friends (but I'm not set on that stop yet). Love the Rhody too!
Great Tulip Debilu!
Thanks Allison, I agree about that white rhody. It's quickly growing on me.
Garden Photos of '09.... #16

OMG... that's bad
Comes cheap, though.
Would have hurt worse if he fell.
He'll work for band-aids.
lol... isn't that the truth!
Great phlox!
Thank you Victorgardener! I am newer to DG and am enjoying it very much
We certainly do appreciate all photos.
Hi, LDEV4, you are most welcome here, as is everyone. Milford is such a pretty place along the Delaware River. You aren't too far away from a cousin who lives in Lafayette.
Hi LDEV4! Hope that you're having fun around DG!
love the color of that azalea
Were those epimediums under the rhody, Shelly ?
Thanks Allison.
Jo Ann, I believe that those are Convallaria. AKA 'Lilly of the Valley' http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&um=1&q=convallaria+majalis&sa=N&start=20&ndsp=20
Welcome LDEV4!
LDEV4, nice shot of one of my favorite plants. I love the yellowish green color of their blooms and their leave shape. I have a couple of different ones, and now after seeing your photo, want an army of them for my new Japanese Maple bed, as they would be perfect for planting along the edge in the part that is sunny. I hope I can snitch some to move. On my todo list. Thanks and welcome.
Victor, nice clem. I am hopeful that I may get some real blooms this year on my three year and four year old ones. I just planted D. or Edinburgh this week. Love that photo.
Redchic01, I am not a huge rhodie fan, but that one gets a big wow from me. I love the pale orange azalea too. The deer ate our white ones back to nothing before I finally moved them last spring. They are beyond pitiful. One looks beyond dead.
I will leave it to give it a chance to return from the dead.
I discovered a tree peony yesterday that I was sure had died and found it had sent up new growth from the dead trunk. Do I have to prune it into a tree shape again? Patti
Gorgeous rhody! Toona tree? Do we need to get out the chainsaws? LOL! Really....what is it?
Welcome LDEV4--from the chainsaw caddy^_^ I am looking forward to hearing about your garden and seeing more of your beautiful pics! It's a great group of people here--they let this frustrated gardener hang here even though I have no garden this year. I migrate here from the African violet forum--Got any AV's?
