Wow...... Pix, you're organized!!! that's awesome.

Thanks folks! I agree, that anemone has very quicly risen to near the top of my list of prettiest flowers! In order to stay there, it will need to make it through a winter though. I think it will. I sure hope so anyhow.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Not organized RC, just copy and paste from the selllers description. I 'll never remember what they look like by July-Aug. when they are shipped and ready to be planted! lol

Doing the blue thing this year huh, Celeste?

Have to have blue.....just have to!

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

lol.... Good Jen... I'm happy to get the wonders of them more well known. My one suggestion is to buy them on sight if possible. They're usually grown from seed and there's definitely variations in the color of that one ranging from slate grey (which I still like), to blueish purple, to purple. I ended up picking up 4 or them this spring (the price was excellent - $2.29/4" cont. ) and they're all different shades. Then one up above is the lightest one and the one in Post #6487555 is the darkest. However, I only found one nursery in my area that carried them this year, and there's a lot of nurseries here! If you have the patience for seeds, you're bound to get at least a few of the color that you want in every packet. I'm told that as far as seed go, they're pretty easy.

Beautiful pics, everyone! I have a hard time keeping up here. I have many pics to post, but haven't had time to do it. Hoping maybe tomorrow night. Tomorrow I'm going to Tower Hill Botanic Gardens in Boyston, MA, where the Primrose Society is having a show, and we may go to Garden in the Woods in Framingham as well, if time permits. We will see how much time we end up spending at Tower Hill.

Dyane.... love that snuggle bug. Happy to have the name of it too. One of the beds in the back yard is mostly reds and browns. That's a perfect match.

Norristown, PA(Zone 6b)

Wow, there are some beautiful gardens in this forum. Such a nice show!

Patti, how tall are your Luecojums? I planted a variety last fall called "Gravetye Giant", supposed to be 24" with 1" bells. They came up barely 8" with tiny bells like Hispanoids

Thanks Redchic :) I just realized that I thought I was on the What have you ordered for spring thread when I posted that! Sorry everyone.

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

lol... Wherever you're at, there you are! Just because you thought you were somewhere else, doesn't mean that this is the wrong thread to post pictures of plants! And now we all know that Sunset Meadows sends nice plants!

Love seeing the dwarf Iris. I have some, but no blooming yet. Mine seem to start around the middle of the month. I have a little group that need to be matched with their tags. Had a big mix up when I planted them in a holding bed a few years back with poor tags that the dogs displaced. I moved them all to another bed and as they bloom I try to match them. I think I can see that I can have some helpers on this thread.

stormyla. The have gotten taller this week, maybe 15".

Like victor, I am trying to catch up as the last couple of days has been a whirlwind of planting between the rain. If it stops and DH has any energy to help, we can finish up the the shrub planting today and I will sort of be caught up. He has been playing in a charity hockey tournament with the final game just done. They came in third. I am cold from watching it. Here is an early morning shot taken before the rain started. I Patti

forgot the picture.
