Scallions....The Seed

I just got a pack of scallions as a freebie and I'm not sure how to plant these.
My Dad always planted onion 'sets', never seeds. these seeds are teeny tiny. should I plant them in a row? sow them and then transplant?

Have you ever grown scallions from seeds?

YES! I've even grown them in a pot, they are easy to grow and delicious! You can grow them in a row and thin them out after they sprout .

I dense pack them in pots. They grow well!
