It is mainly in one spot under a window but is starting to pop up through out my lawn. I would like to find out what it is and what will get rid of it.

Knotweed....I don't think a nuclear bomb will be enough to get rid of it...dig and sift the soil, remove every piece you find, no matter how small...maybe, just maybe, in 5 years or so it might be gone...
