Jatropha
Tropical Garden #37
I started a Passiflora McCain from seeds. I'm curious to see if it's going to flower this year.
I'm glad you like em, RJ. I planted a few cherry cleome this year and I'm hoping they are coming up but it may be more purple. They will reseed like crazy. I made the mistake of tossing the old plant in the compost pile two years ago when I grew them for the first time. Very big mistake. Now I've got them coming up under allamandas and brugs, etc. There are easy to distinguish and pull up, but still, I should have known better.
If there are any extra seeds from the cleome, I would gladly send you postage for a few. Grew them 50 years ago.
Thanks
Hap
Let me check Hap. I think I have some of the cherry left and I should have some purple before too long. I got rid of my old seeds from last year a few months back, but I think I still have some of the cherry. Be glad to send em to you. Are you in the exchange? If not dmail me your address.
You know me...I'll let them grow like weeds
Drooling here guys with all of your blooms! Rita, daydreams is so lovely! I hope the tiny cutting I have blooms, or did I loose it already?? Need to check!
Rita
Where did you buy the Lavendar Blush?? At Bloomers in Rockport??? That is so pretty and I was just thinking I wanted a purple one. Could get rid of that shooting star that looks so pitiful by my yellow allamanda, and put a Lavendar Blush in its place. What do you think?
Brugs in full bloom.

I took a few pictures after I got done piddling in the garden today.
Look Rj--the yellow is starting to appear. I talked to the guy at the hibbie nursery today (when I went to pick up a Lavendar Blush thanks to my dear friend Rita who has finally made me a tropical hibiscus convert) and he told me that the yellow on pink lemonade would become more pronounced as it got hotter. I came home and found this bloom. I like it better than the first one I showed you.
