gorgeous pics Bea! I love that 3rd tulip. Do you know that name of it?
Violets - they are everywhere. I have decided against trying to keep them contained. LOL They are pretty. I also have wild strawberry everywhere. Mom used to pull it out, but you know what? They are a good groundcover and suppress the weeds so, I'm keeping them, too. Unless I want to plant something there.
Pretty pics.
red.. I can tell how much you now love those anenomes! Your picture really captures the true color.
The pastel tulip is called Gudoshnik from John Scheepers. It is lovely!
Oh that anemone! The color! Makes me swoon!
I know. I MUST have it. LOL
Here is another Anenome from today. I read a brief article just now on the medicinal powers of windflowers aka Anenomes. The juice of this flower have been used as far back as ancient Greece. Anemonin which is a chemical found in these flowers is a powerful antimicrobial and expectorant. It is sold as a tincture under it's botanical name pulsatilla.
I thought this info was great. Such a pretty flower that will cure what ever ails you!! And if you are not sick..it makes you feel better by just looking at it.

They certainly put a smile on my face!! Nicely done rc and Bea!
who was looking for or lost their Black Barlow?
I found some today at a local nursery. Let me know - I'll go back & grab some for you!
Thanks all, and for the name Bea!
Strangely enough, it's hard to get the true color of that anemone. It's not really blue, but it's not just plain purple either. But, the camera on it's own turns it true blue, so the settings have to be messed with to get it to look like it's true color.... which also depends on what kind of light it is shinging on it (ie morning light, afternoon, backlight, etc.)
That saxifrage is great!
