A long time ago there was some talk on the rose forum about Messenger, but haven't seen anything in a long time. I tried to order some on line today and was told they couldn't sell to Calif residents, very strange! I have been able to buy it locally until this year.I am very sorry to hear that the stock holders are voting to dissolve the company in May. Have any of you knowledge about Messenger?I'll miss the product because I use it all the time.
Using messenger in your garden
That's so bizarre. I'd love to know more of that story. Why not California? Did our State Agricultural Department decide it can't be here?
I've heard so much that's good and bad about the product. I bought some a couple of years ago and I keep meaning to use it, but I never have.
Messenger caused some weird mutations in some plants.
Here is the whole saga of what happened to me.

Where did you find that news? can you provide a link? i can't find anything.
If you go to Yahoo, click on finance and enter EDEN for a quote it will give you the price of the stock and articles that have been currently released for the company.
This is the website for selling their procucts, notice that Mighty Plant has a Lot of states listed where the product can't be sold either. Very confusing because I've bought from them in the past. If anyone finds out more info I would love to hear about it.

I bought mine from this nursery:

They might still be willing to send it to California.
Thanks Zuzu, If I can't find it locally at a different nursery I'll try them. Funny how you get used to a product and panic if you can no longer get it.
Here's the Yahoo finance link

Whahhhhh
In the past, it's been possible to get Messenger here, but you can't get the Messenger seed treatment. That one apparently never made it through the California EPA. I also think the combo Messenger/Mighty Plant can't be sent to CA either but I'm not sure on that. I've never had trouble getting the regular Messenger though (although I haven't shopped for it recently, so maybe something's changed).
I just bought some regular Messenger. I know I won't be able to buy it anymore, but I at least want to get through this summer with it. I've used it for years and love it. I'm SO sad they're going out of business.
I read some of the press releases, and it sounds like the Messenger technology was bought by a company called Plant Health Care, so even though Eden Bio is going out of business it's possible Messenger may still be available.
