Was deep dark green and is now coming back with yellowish light green leaves? Any ideas?
Pachysandra bed ...
Does it look distressed/wilted? Perhaps it needs nitrogen.
My pachysandra was yellowish-green when it first started growing this spring, but has now darkened to the deep glossy green you'd expect from it. Yours should be nice and green by the time it starts flowering. If not, it may be time for a soil test.
Your experience seems closer to what I have here. I don't think they're in distress, but I haven't done any fertilizing yet. I'll try a little fertilizer and keep an eye on it... thanks!
