Phyllis, That sounds weird coming from a Phyllis. any whoo I will bring what ever you need just let me know. I've been a non subscriber for awhile so I never did post a list and really don't know how you do that ,but will try. I'm now a subsciber thanks to Sheila she was very nice letting me know that non subscribers and subscriber were welcome to the swap that;s how I ended up at the Arlinton swap. I really enjoyed it and decided to go ahead and join. Is there a map or directions to the swap?

Mibus~
Is anyone making potato salad? I am thinking of making some Friday night and letting it chill, then bringing it in a cooler so it stays nice and cold.

Then I could make a pot of Charro Pinto beans in the pressure cooker right before I leave. They would stay hot for at least 2 hours.

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

deb looks like sweezel is making some tater salad
I was thinkin maybe some fruit cut up would be nice as it would be finger type food and cool but I haven't picked up the melons yet

anythign quick and easy is fine nothing fancy we always have plenty of food

McKinney, TX(Zone 8a)

Sylvia is also bringing potato salad.

Looking at the list in the first post, some ideas for people who don't know what to bring....
I don't see napkins/paper towels on the list. A cooler with ice would probably be good too. A bag or two of chips, maybe.

Hutchins, TX

Mibus, looks like 4 with me. do you have a map or direction on getting there from Athens? Do we bring a door prize?

I'm bringing:
chicken salad sandwhiches
7 layer dip
chips
napkins or paper towels

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

We have a clean large cooler for drink ice... will bring .;-)

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

Yes bring door prizes

to get there form Athens I would say best bet is to com e31 to Tyler go around on loop 323 to Broadway (69) go south on 69....is on the left hand side just before you get into Jacksonville.

Palestine, TX(Zone 8b)

I just checked the list. I need to bring something besides utensils. Help me out......please :)
